Well looks like my bold prediction of; "Anthony Don for most tries (34) and run metres (237metres per game) this season to a go with his Dally M, Origin debut, origin man of the series and Clive Churchill after being instrumental scoring 4 tries in the titans 68-2 thrashing of the Rabbitohs to cap of an undefeated season in style in which they break records for; points scored, points against, winning streak (32 and counting by the end of the year) and most tries by a forward (tied Fifita, Tino and Wallace with 24 each)." is impossible now

This is my pre TLT trade in options:

Jai Arrow 636k (74): Won't get 74 in 45 minutes every week but was really busy and looked really good in attack. Got 46 in base stats (29 tackles + 176 run metres). Racked up 5 tacklebreaks which won't come every week but still has a career average of 2.5 tacklebreaks per game over 40 minutes. Tom Burgess could also be out which would see him get a starting role. Breakeven of 27 means he won't get much cheaper.

Anthony Milford 449k (52): Got 52 which is a lot higher than what he is priced at and even higher than his break even of 17. Scored 52 which included 7 missed tackles, he isn't the greatest defender but 7 is still well higher than his career average of 2.4. If he didn't miss those tackles he would have scored 62 or 67 if he makes those extra 5 tackles aswell. Historically is a gun at half every year bar last year and his 494km make him much more appealing as that helped him score of 42 (494km, 9 tackles and 107 run metres).

Joe Ofahengaue 447K (58): Scored 58 in 43 minutes and appeared very busy throughout the game. Will not sustain that scoring but with 38 of those points being base stats (126 run metres + 26 tackles). He should have a solid base and with his career PPM of 0.83 he should be able to make money and outperform his break even of 14 with ease.

Leeson Ah Mau 398k (61): scored 61 in 42 minutes including a try. Has a career PPM of 0.88 and a career average of 41.1 with a PPM of 0.93 when playing between 40 and 50 minutes. Should be reliable if he keeps that role which he should and with a break even of 5 should make some quick cash

Tyrell Fuimaono 360k (44): has historically scored alright in limited minutes at second row with a PPM of 0.64 which should increase if when playing in the middle. Scored 44 in 59 minutes which is sort of underwhelming as those minutes most likely won't increase. Should go better and maintain a good enough average to make cash considering his BE of 14 but the uncertainty of the dragons forward pack is putting me off

Spencer Leniu 327k (41): career PPM of 1, scored 41 in 38 minutes so should be a reliable cash cow if he keeps that role of 30-40 of the bench and is predicted by some to start by the end of the season which would further boost his scoring. BE of 12 so should be a decent 17th scoring option and cash cow

Simply put I don't see him playing less than 40 mins and 40-45 pts is fine for what you are paying
Injury free, good off season and fairly respected within the team now giving the warriors some starch in the middle.
I don't see him playing huge minutes either, but doesn't need to given his price of 398k

Aww Booze, you're making me second guess my Ofa trade in.
Which one gives better service - a starting Ofa, or a bench LAM?

So I finally bothered to look a little harder at Taps. Looks like stick and the coaching staff have identified a plan that involves him playing for 45-50min roughly and he actually scores better than when he plays longer minutes. Either that or its complete coincidence and he was in form regardless. But looks very much like we moved away from playing him long minutes and into that shorter period towards the back end of last season and it was consistent barring one game.

That's 6 one way kinda half a dozen the other and the same two players I was deciding between. In the end I went the easy "cheapest w/ lowest BE" mantra.

Also left me 238k itb to make another move next week.

Hmm without Cleary in the team, doing a realistic score for my team which comes out at 820-850...

Only realistic way to get him in is via Crichton. But shouldn't be trading a gun especially when I'll likely want him back later

I think you are reaching a bit thinking Leniu will make 100k in 3 weeks. He is still in his same role as the last 2 season which he's never played as many minutes as last week or scored more than 40 points for 2 games in a row, let alone the 4 you would need for him to make 100k. He had a good game but I'm steering clear
It is slim pickings mate though like I’ve got Lodge and need a replacement cheaper than him I only have 2k spare.

Some of us have no choice but to go with one of these options like a Leniu.

As a Croker owner, i'm hoping he gets benched or shafted so i can lose him, could use some Milf money.

Got other players I'm watching in Croker, Bird, Roberts and Avo but they ain't broken yet so I'll roll with it.

Croker made money... ok was only 1k, but I think if picked this week he makes a little more money again this week, and the week after, and so on.

I think I’m more likely to quit the Gos Squad.

I think Cleary could be worth trading Crichton. Different category of gun. If you don't have Cleary you could easily be left completely behind too many teams and not sure that's the case with Angus.

If there's a way of getting in NC without losing AC then go for it, but otherwise needs must. "Don't trade a gun" is all well and good, but could be superceded by new "don't start without Captain Cleary" #1 rule.

Sorry I don't think I phrased that well. I meant start the cash gen now, but earn 100-150k overall. Not sure Lodge is going to make that coin, and even if he does it will take a few weeks more than Leniu (provided he keeps the minutes)
100% agree that after round 1 Leniu will make cash faster than Lodge. I guess my way of thinking is that if both are NPR's the slight cash injection now does not outweigh the cost of a trade further down the line if I expect Lodge to still make 75-100k by Origin which is when using cash makes a difference. If you need a Mid to field 17 I'm looking at LAM first.

Didn't say he shouldn't play, just less minutes because he is not as good as he once was.
