I'm looking forward to the week they sub Cleary when well ahead.Ramitinmyhaaas wrote:Not an owner, just curious why Api played 48 minutes? Didn't catch the game. Was it just a planned sub then they didn't need him back on cause the game was over?

When he’s already on 100 points from a try and a few try assists?
Gonna be behind the sofa for panthers games til after origin. The only time I’ll feel safe is when he’s rested altogether

Hard to tell this early. Had Eisenhuth HIA and Martin didn't play any minutes in the middle this week. Eisenhuth clearly ahead, getting on the field 9 minutes before Leniu, before getting a head knock.Chewie wrote:
Leniu has moved up a spot in the pecking order after Tamou's departure. Leota has taken the starting prop role Tamou had (35-45mins) and Leniu is now in a similar role as Leota last season (30-40mins)

It is not a Reed Mahoney banner without the awfully good new jersey?

Yep that's the way I see it too. Just to expand on that, A few weeks ago, I posted that the first interchange for the Panfers last year got, on average, 35 minutes. I went through MTBs interchanges for each match, it was mostly but not always Leota. Leniu may or may not end up starting this year, but I would think he at least gets that interchange role, possibly now or in the very near future. Having said that, I hate picking bench forwards. But slim pickings and no bank leaves me with little options. Not going to overthink it though, TLT often surprises.

That was what I was looking forward to the whole of last year and it cost me a few thousand places waiting.

Being a Cleary non-owner (non-Cleary owner?) last year, I prayed with futility each week for that to happen. It wasn't fun. Good luck with that.

I would if I knew how. Was not a criticism. More a wish that he keeps the form up in that thing

All good mate. Haha, do you remember when I brought up Mahoney for discussion in preseason?

It's round 7 or 8 apparently, no rush if Moylan stays fit and we win a couple, that's my sway though.

Sorry I don't think I phrased that well. I meant start the cash gen now, but earn 100-150k overall. Not sure Lodge is going to make that coin, and even if he does it will take a few weeks more than Leniu (provided he keeps the minutes)Donkeyyyyyy wrote:
I think you are reaching a bit thinking Leniu will make 100k in 3 weeks. He is still in his same role as the last 2 season which he's never played as many minutes as last week or scored more than 40 points for 2 games in a row, let alone the 4 you would need for him to make 100k. He had a good game but I'm steering clear

Lam is a reasonable player, just think Robbo has pulled the wrong reign in Walker

Just the one trade for me this week like most of the other older sane types around here. Needed to trade to field 17 so LAM comes in to replace Lodge and Leniu up from 20th man to cover for Angus for the week.
Got other players I'm watching in Croker, Bird, Roberts and Avo but they ain't broken yet so I'll roll with it.

JWH is now the 4th best Middle forward for the Roosters and should be used as an impact benchy for 25 mins. I agree that Collins is likely to see some regression and probably not enough value over some other cheaper options but he has earnt those minutes over the last 12 months.
It's interesting. Read a stat somewhere last year that said that Roosters win rate when JWH plays is >70% and without around 40%. Obviously, old data, but pretty wild stat
