    When is SJ due back?

    Casualty ward has R7-8

The latest from SJ was him laughing off R5 as a return but before trials so no definitive idea

At least Townsend likely stays in team on SJ return but would probably be sell the week of if not 1-2 weeks after as his scores will drop massively

Keep in mind and I don’t want to wish injury on anyone, but the chance of SJ having a set back at some point during the year is pretty high

Just looking at MTB's break evens. Really is slim pickings. It's the first year I can remember there being zero players with a negative break even.

Haha fair enough, just thinking about him myself
Simply put I don't see him playing less than 40 mins and 40-45 pts is fine for what you are paying
Injury free, good off season and fairly respected within the team now giving the warriors some starch in the middle.
I don't see him playing huge minutes either, but doesn't need to given his price of 398k

Pretty much what we want, I agree

J Brailey has a BE of -1 for round 2.

Mead and Laurie have a BE of 1.

I know you like your PODs, but surely not? SST + JWH didn't even play 80 between them in a blowout, Radley not far off taking some middle minutes, and that's (comfortably) the most minutes Collins has ever played.

Surely Siro defending in the middle a better POD in that price range, or Tupounia if you're set on trading Riki?

JWH is now the 4th best Middle forward for the Roosters and should be used as an impact benchy for 25 mins. I agree that Collins is likely to see some regression and probably not enough value over some other cheaper options but he has earnt those minutes over the last 12 months.

Cheers, they are 0 and 2 on MTBs site. Which gets them close but not 100%. Definitely weird not having some cheapie at -11 or something

I liked my team a week ago. A poor round shouldn’t change all of that unless the info we have to make decisions has

Lam, Riki and my lame centres are fine for now

Host is the main one on the chopping block along with lodge. As south’s bypassed him at every opportunity and you don’t get points for dummy runs. Not new info but I thought they’d throw 1 in 4 to him not 0 in 20 when they go left

Snatchpato wrote:My goal this year was to conserve trades and not waste them, so the Lodge situation is really tricky.

On one hand keeping an extra trade, knowing I'll have a reasonable EMG MID that might slow burn some cash plays into my thinking at the start of the season.

On the other hand, trading him to Leniu gets me cash generation for the next 2-3 weeks while Lodge is out, and potentially 100-150k in cash (provided Leniu continues with 30-40 mins a game).

I'm not really all that familiar with Leniu as I didn't follow the Panthers that closely last year. I've heard a lot of good things on here about him. Can I get people's thoughts on whether we think Leniu:
    a) passes the eye test for ability and longevity
    b) has the job security and
    c) will continue getting good minutes (30-40) for the next half-season

    Cheers fellas
I think you are reaching a bit thinking Leniu will make 100k in 3 weeks. He is still in his same role as the last 2 season which he's never played as many minutes as last week or scored more than 40 points for 2 games in a row, let alone the 4 you would need for him to make 100k. He had a good game but I'm steering clear

A bit stupid to trade host and leave lodge in EMGs? More confident in lodge long term

Not an owner, just curious why Api played 48 minutes? Didn't catch the game. Was it just a planned sub then they didn't need him back on cause the game was over?

Leniu has moved up a spot in the pecking order after Tamou's departure. Leota has taken the starting prop role Tamou had (35-45mins) and Leniu is now in a similar role as Leota last season (30-40mins)
