New concussion rules in NRL this season now require a player to seek an exemption from an independent neurologist to play within 11 days of suffering the concussion.

Before kickoff in the Sharks match yesterday, I had a mate sms me saying "ugly stat for the Sharks that they have not won there round 1 match in the past 7 years", and that "they very much should be able to rid that tag against a team like the Dragons".

Came across a bit unnecessary, to which I replied "yes this is a true stat, but it was integral to our 2016 GF victory".

He said "well what about the other 6 years", to which I didn't reply as point made by me I think, game set and match baby !

Whose with me ! Did I win the sms battle ?

    He was ordinary.
I don’t think he was injured, not sure if it was rotation, I’m thinking he may have been pulled.
I’m hoping Davey gets the start this week, however it’s Hasler so who knows.

Isn't the main positive reason to allow an exemption on a youngen, to stop him being poached from other sports ? Pr are there other things implemented for this nowadays ?

Anyone else disappointed by the scoring from the Doordash twins on their debut in the new three pronged HKR line up?....and there was such value around as well

Gosi was with the trainer at one point, his wrist from memory. He kept playing though. Not sure if it was related or just hooked or a combination of the two.

So glad I took the captaincy off lefty at the last moment. They're consistent though, give them that.

Roosters chose to enter an early guilty plea for Crichton. Will miss this weeks game, available for selection next week

Yikes I have to play Stefano this week then. That's in addition to having to replace Lodge with a MID this week too.

This is what I get for loading up at WFB and HLF.

sometimes you just have to cut bait, i can't speak for everyone else, but my thinking with Lodge was getting those 4 weeks of boosted starting scores without Haas and then sitting on his interchange scores until his peak price. With that 15 in the bank and 2-3 weeks on the sideline, it'll be a month at least before he even starts to make money on his starting price and he'll most likely be back to the interchange getting 30-odd per minutes per game, given how important it is to get on the right missed cows and jumpstart your money making early, he's not worth holding for the length of time he'll need to come close to the amount a trade is 'worth'.

Good point I hadn't factored his increased BE due to the 15 into the equation. Thanks for the reply!

Scores have returned but my rank has stayed at 11000+, whereas yesterday it was low 8000??
Not that either of these ranks is anything to brag about, but if I'm going to learn to be humble I'd rather a 4 digit number than a 5. Basketball

Not sure why but I feel like going RTS to Peachey and getting rid of Croker for anyone.

Don't want to play both Jet and Averillo this week. Not looking pretty against Roosters and Panthers.
