If the number 1 rule of fantasy is 'don't trade healthy CTR's' then rule 1a is 'don't trade guns' and yet everyone here is jettisoning/advocating jettisoning Crichton? the mind boggles.

There's logic in jetissoning Crichton to get Cleary if it's the new #1 rule. To get Frizell, not so much.

That's what I thought last round. Scored well in a losing side because he breaks tackles.
Fair point, the forward depth in Canberra is such, they can field 2 first grade packs.

I think Cleary could be worth trading Crichton. Different category of gun. If you don't have Cleary you could easily be left completely behind too many teams and not sure that's the case with Angus.
If there's a way of getting in NC without losing AC then go for it, but otherwise needs must. "Don't trade a gun" is all well and good, but could be superceded by new "don't start without Captain Cleary" #1 rule.

RTS to Peachey
Croker to Davey
Can get anyone for Croker up to $385K.
Koloamatangi
Jensen
Momo
Fuimaono
I like Davey if he gets the start.

Didn't say he shouldn't play, just less minutes because he is not as good as he once was.

I'll maintain that Cleary is good, but not 'waste a trade on dropping someone you'll end up buying back, probably at a higher price' good, he's not gonna average 96 for the season and not owning him for a few weeks is gunna suck, but it isn't the death-knell of a fantasy season, trade down to the right cheap cows, build a war chest then upgrade a stagnating middie and then instead of just having Cleary, you have Cleary, Crichton & an extra trade for when you're hanging on for dear life past Round 20.

Bump, feedback on these trades please?
