Peachey got 10 extra mins he otherwise usually wouldn’t have got with Fifita coming off

He definitely looks like he’ll be a keeper CTR if not top CTR but I don’t think his price is going to skyrocket

Got to trade Lodge and the only other trade I am eyeing up is Croker to someone in that 300-400k bracket as he really doesnt look like scoring any better than the weekend, and may even lose his place soon. Hold tight or cut the punk loose before he bleeds too much cash?

Morning morning crew! Happy Team NZ retain the Americas Cup day Wink

Ahead of any worthy cut price middles, am tossing up:
    Crocker to Alvaro
Or keep trade and play Utoikamanu for Crichton.
    Can’t afford Leniu by 1k

    Any thoughts appreciated

Happy Team NZ retain the Americas Cup day to you too!

Save your trades....Everyone is in the same boat with Chrichton.

Looking likely I'll do a somewhat boring trade of Lodge to Alvaro. Leniu into starting mid and use Crichton for shenanigans between Alvaro and Host

If Davey was named to start I would be very interested in getting him instead of Alvaro though

Fucking love it, but why is nobody bringing in Tedesco now that we know he scores hattricks?

    Dear TrentyClaus,
All I want for TLT is Radley to be named at lock this week so I have the opportunity to put off making a decision by another week when I'll have to decide if he got extra minutes because Angus was out. Or leave him right out entirely to force my hand. Please please please don't name him on the bench.

Radley has a two-game naughty boy suspension anyway, so you're safe.

    Re that new concussion rule:

NRL Physio: This doesn’t mean players can’t play the following week after suffering a concussion, just that they will need to visit a neurologist to be cleared

I am tossing around 3 options re Lodge > Milford which would leave me a tad short in the Mid department, or Ofa or LAM. Head says Ofa, heart says LAM but gambler says Milford, Who should I listen too ???

If I started Milford I would be happyish but if Coates and Asiata out along with Lodge and the Titans complete their sets then surely David Fifita running at Milford, Riki and Niu all day is worrying for owners. Not sure Milf gets two try assists this week so I would say you are looking at a score around 40 points at best. Could be wrong though but think until Haas gets back they struggle bigtime in next 3 games. Bench is not going to offer anything, although Bullemor played well. I'm content to hold Lam over trading to Milf for now.

If Egan plays more mins at hooker as match fitness gets better couldn’t that mean it’s bad for LAM’a mins as Tevaga is still gonna play solid mins off the bench in the middle rather than some at hooker if Egan plays longer which is likely.

    Team with 2k spare is:

    Macca
    Lodge Angus Watson
    Fifita Riki
    Cleary Lam
    Avo Jet
    Teddy Pap Laurie

    Turpin J. Brailey Liddle Host
    L. Croker Uto Niu Simonsson

I did think about going L. Croker to Alvaro but then was concerned having 2 bench forwards that I’m bringing in this week may not be the best thing......

    Any advice or thoughts please?

Exact same spot. I'm thinking - Lodge & Croker into Leniu & Alvaro. They'll gain some cash atleast and there's genuine mid cover and EMG scorers.

I’m tossing up between Ofa and Lam also. Plus wether I need to bring in Leniu or not.

Lodge the only real trade out

Leniu and Ofa the most appealing options out there. Milf and Alvaro interest me as well. Then I have Moylan and Fui at the tier below, primarily for half coverage if I punt Croker and idk if i can trust Fui - not sure he'll get those minutes again.

All that said, let's watch TLs today. See what the Roosters throw at us with the hooker/half options.

Yeah I started with Milf and am happy about it but if I didn't, I don't think I'd be using a trade to bring him in after week 1. He started with two 50+ scores last season and we all know how the rest went

Peachey would have come on for someone for the 10 mins. Feel like Tino was actually the player that benefitted (he aint getting 64 mins every game) from Fifita going off as he played edge last 10 mins and looked absolutely spent.
