Nope! Have a feeling Bird eventually finds his way into 13, or Ford comes into the squad, or they lose against the Cows and Hook changes things up (Lawrie to 13 for example).

Yeah I agree. Everything just feels uneasy with the whole Dragons pack so far. It's hard to see Fui as the long term 13 truthfully. If he puts up another good score and retains the jumper next week, then I'll probably strongly consider him. Lawrie I see is a much better lock.

But I'm a tradeaholic
I'm coming back to thinking about 2 trades even though I don't need to just so I can get better players (Lam + Gosiewski out). Even though I had a damn good score, my cash generation is still fairly low (total 294k increase in team value)
Earlier idea about holding Gosiewski even though he sucks and will bleed cash could potentially just be best move and hope for better cheap cow

Gos would be my exception as he has reverted to the bench and genuinely sucks. So glad my head was screwed on and he never made my team.... Host on the other hand.

Lawrie just seems like a Twal 0.5 remake
Good at racking up tackles and RM but doesn't really provide spark through offloads, breaking tackles (not a single offload in his lock starts)

The way the game is going it is crying out for hard, ball playing locks... Like your Watsons, Radleys, Murrays, Yeos, Harris, Tinos and Birds (to an extent)... Guys that are built like a brick shit house and have a little bit of footwork and a nice pass in their arsenal. I am unsure on Lawrie's passing skills, so maybe Fui has that in him. I tend to think of your Jurbo's and Lolo's whose games have really diminished over the last couple seasons. Not saying these players aren't good but they just aren't super effective anymore as their game doesn't suit the way NRL is played at the moment - JUST IN MY OPINION

Angus & Lodge to Ofa & Davey
Leaves me with enough cash to do Capewell to Angus in round 3. If Capewell didn't score that try he wouldn't of scored 30's plus he didn't play 80 mins.
If I keep Angus I might do:
Lodge & L. Croker to Leniu & Alvaro

Holding him until we get a clearer answer on Friend - seems like a natural swap to cheap Roosters hooker if Friend is out for a while

You picked him for a reason, that reason being he's an absolute boss, a dpp boss at that. Most players, especially forwards, will be lucky to make it through the season without an injury or suspension at some point.

Leniu is an absolute weapon, no way he doesn't barge over for a few tries this season. The rest being mentioned and I know a few of them scored on the weekend but they are genuine plodders.
I'm thinking I'll go Leniu and ride the price rise after he barges over for a few weeks then bugger him off when he peaks.
