Just takes an early game injury or HIA for Cleary and that all compresses significantly.

I mean, whilst i disagree with the premise of this, he has a good point that if you were to remove one player for whatever reason. Cleary would cause the biggest impact.

Sort of. If Cleary is out for a week or has a low score , the impact is pretty low, since most serious teams have him and captain him. Its just the few that didn't start with him get to breath a sigh of relief for a week.

The impact of one week on a full season is incredibly minor though.

To put things in perspective, the guy in 1st place has Deitz, Ogden, Averillo, Milford... not the best cows in the shed.
He also has J Paulo who has scored a try in both games.

Low score has much more impact than out for a week

    Lodge update from today -

Broncos Head Of Performance Andrew Croll said: “Matt returned to running last week and ran again this morning and has come through that well.

“He is progressing well but there are a few things to tick off yet and we will look at a return to skills training for him later this week before assessing when he can return to play.”

Sounds like no go this week which is good for anyone that pulled the T trigger.

Lam to Alvaro for some cash ITB and some generation with boring but reliable scores or Tino to someone like Young or Tupouniua

You missed the 'or has a low score' in MTB's statement.

    EDIT: Maybe you didn't lol.

I held thinking I'd be more mad if he was back this week and I'd traded him, than if he was another week away. Also didn't love any of the options around his price. Hopefully one pops up this TLT.

Not sure on the Tupouinua love. Still has the same role we expected preseason but has scored 2 tries in 2 weeks. surely he isn't being traded in with the expectation of scoring every week?

Didnt miss it. Was an incorrect statement, 2 totally different scenarios.

Scenario 1) Missing a week is low impact
Scenario 2) getting a 10 for early game injury or HIA is a game changer. Those that have him and captained him get a 20 vs others that get a normal captains score, so something like a 100-150+ point swing. Suddenly Cleary is cheaper to pick up for non-owners in a couple of weeks, assuming he isn't out for a few weeks, which is more of a game changer again.
