I think Turpin will be ok, but understand the low confidence. I agree with the other two. I'm tempted to punt lam for Egan.

Turpin's a hard one. He scored a 53 in Round 1 so it's hard to say that 32 has sunk him as an option but at his price there's value to trading him out. It can wait another week.

I just bought Milford in, bit of a waste to trade him right back out but with potential money making options like Schuster popping up both him and Lam are on thin ice.

I'm genuinely struggling to come up with semi logical trades.

My team is split into two very distinct sections. Doing well enough (points/money wise) or stinking it up. The issue is, all the ones that are stinking it up (Roberts, Avo, Davey, Lam, Turpin) have no one with in the same price range to do a straight swap/downgrade.

    Braily
    Watson, JFH, Ofa
    Fifita, Riki
    Cleary, Lam
    Bird, Roberts
    Teddy, Laurie, Trell

    Chricton, Turpin, Liddle, Alvaro

    Davey, Avo, Utoikamanu, Croker

Haven't got the money to go Davey to Fui - which is about the only trade i thought id want to do. Could do Leniu??

    Am i missing anything obvious?

Schuster may be worth a punt for some, like me, struggling to find someone cheap to downgrade too. You just hope he is the man to plug gaps at manly as his JS doesn't appear too stable.

It feels like most of the players that people have that haven't performed to expectations have done just enough to warrant another round or two to see how they go. Turpin, Croker, Bird, Roberts.

Rankings very close this early in the season.
Only 120 or so points from 5,000th to top 100.

X-Axis is current ranking.  Y-Axis is points behind team currently in first place [who has ridden the Mahoney train].

Revraiser wrote:To hard to decide between the 4 of Alvaro, Collins, Schuster and Paps this week. Really don't like Alvaro and never thought he'd get a sniff in a side managed by me. Is he a chance to be stuffed with mins and rotations ?

Alvaro made a poor tackle attempt on Granville which led to a try that could have been game changing. That'll definitely get poor marks from the coach but he did make a notable difference when he came onto the field and he even broke into open space hilariously.

He should be safe with minutes for now. They won the match and part of that was down to the momentum he and Merrin bought off the bench so they probably won't mess with a formula that worked.

Just takes an early game injury or HIA for Cleary and that all compresses significantly.

Thoughts on Lam to Alvaro? I could hold trades or I could do that, I think Alvaro definitely passes the eye test while Lam doesn't

Assuming you have someone decent to cover LAM, Alvaro seem a good medium burn option.

Or that happens to your Fifita captain and you slip back even further.
