Thats what we said the first half of last season about Harris. Not going to get caught out this year.... well I probably will, but will be from not missing a potential great buy. Priced under $600k, if he gets the Harris role, he is at least $200k under-priced, dual, BE 25.

Thompson goes into the prop rotation i reckon, but i guess it depends on JMK too and whether he starts to play more 80 min games.

My guess jackson ends up playing more 60 min games than 80, but who knows, hes got the motor for it, and no real reason to suggest it wont continue

Ogden doesn't play big minutes and Heth and Napa are shit, so Thompson I think goes into the prop rotation.  I think Jackson keeps a big minute role even when Thompson returns.  He's a decent option for sure.  Maybe I'm talking myself into him.

    EDIT: Hmmm....DPP too.

Not sure who is a better trade in this week. Young or Fifita. Any thoughts or advice? Needing to bring in a 2nd rower for Tino.

    Fifita, no question.

Young looks the goods though but he copped a knock to the knee. I'd be wary about that.

To trade Tino or not. I bet as soon as I trade him he will go large.

Lam & Tino to Alvaro & Papenhuyzen
    Or
Lam to Alvaro and save the trade with 173k in bank.

Light at WFB with Teddy, Hoy & Laurie but will have to have either Hoy, Moylan, Niu or Stefano at 17 if I flick Tino.

    Thoughts lads?

Thanks, I didn't see that. That knock may just be the deciding factor.

That's a playable WFB. I've promised myself not to spend trades this early on backs until my other issues are sorted

Funny ol game, was successfully warned away from Jackson two weeks ago and now he’s talk of the town.

Hetherington or Ogden will no longer be starting prop.

I have very little concern for the impact to Jackson

Think you could save the trade this week with favourable draws for Tino and Hoy where as Papy playing a motivated Penrith.

The Thompson argument was the deterrent and a fair case to make.
Two weeks in and now everyone says it will be fine and won’t affect Jackson haha

    Time will tell

He hadn't had a score at lock higher than 48 since 2015 and no more than 69 minutes in that period.
Tolman leaving has certainly left a big vacuum of both minutes and tackles required by the rest of the team.
I was really keen on Elliott if he had got that big minute lock role.
