It all depends on the balance of your team. Do you have some dud cows that you need to get rid of?
Do you have a misfiring gun that needs replacing?
At this stage of the game cows are probably the most important for most of us on this forum

Thinking maybe double cow is a good play this week.
Lodge > Alvaro

Annoyingly am 13k short of doing that trade if I trade out lam and Davey. I feel like it might be a bit early to pull the trigger on Turpin and there is no other people needing to be traded out other than averilloWelshy wrote:

Schuster and probably Papalii, though all are pretty good options.

The thinking here seems quite different to trading action taking place:
JJ at the bottom of the who's hot list at <1% and iPap not making the list at all. Schuster added to just 2% of teams so far.
Kris makes the list despite Croker due back any time.
JAYDEN BRAILEY 3.56%
DANIEL ALVARO 2.57%
JOSH SCHUSTER 2.09%
SITILI TUPOUNIUA 1.70%
REED MAHONEY 1.57%
LUKE KEARY 1.46%
SEBASTIAN KRIS 1.34%
LINDSAY COLLINS 1.26%
HYMEL HUNT 1.25%
PAUL MOMIROVSKI 1.22%
DAINE LAURIE 1.18%
JORDAN RIKI 0.99%
JOSH JACKSON 0.98%
BRETT MORRIS 0.98%
RYAN JAMES 0.94%

Meanwhile, looks like Bellamy might be flogging Cheese for 80 with Smoothy falling off bench.

Trade in Targets
Josh Schuster 301k (47): break even of 5 and a great score in mostly base stats on the weekend. He should only improve on this as he is a big body with immense talent.
Daniel Alvaro 352k (54): great PPM and getting good minutes. A history of being a gun and could get back there this year
Keaon Koloamatangi 399k (45): starting role and scored well in all base stats. should be able to keep up this scoring and make good cash
Mitch Kenny 436k (46): 4-5 weeks of 80 minutes at hooker will take this opportunity with both hands and run with it. Already got a history of scoring around 50 when playing 80 at hooker but this extended run could see him find some form and pump out some gun scores and make good cash
Sitili Tupouniua 566k (70): two big scores after winning the starting spot and however these scores both includes one try which he won't get every week
Lindsay Collins 569k (64): got big minutes and big scores the first two rounds. Wouldn't be the first time we have seen a young player come out of origin camp and elevate to gun level. However, his 64 was assisted by two TAs and a LBA which increased his score greatly.
Isaiah Papali'i 575k (61): he has brought great energy off the bench which has seen him produce gun scores in the first two rounds with big minutes. He is now starting second row for an unknown period of time and while his historical scoring at second row would suggest he is not a buy he is 22 and has shown great improvement from previous years which he can hopefully continue
Josh Jackson 595k (72): Could he be this year's Yeo? playing big minutes at lock has seen the workhorse produce massive scores with mostly just base stats. However, RFM and Luke Thompson returning holds a question mark over his sustained role.
Thanks for the round-up. Great stuff.
I was thinking the same Re: Jackson and Yeo. Was my main lesson from last year. Don’t get stubborn on opinions of players when the minutes and work is there. Said I would never get Yeo because he was not available at centre. Costly

I’m liking the look of Collins, although I’m tossing up between Collins, Jackson and Papalii.FalconSloth wrote:If you had to choose two players, one cheapie and one mid, from the list above who would you choose.
Schuster and Collins for me.
Edit - just realised you don’t have Alvaro. Schuster and Alvaro I’d go.

This is where my brain is going as well. Looking to use the cash for a second HLF or even Haas/Ponga soon.

They missed Hynes's spark a bit last week. Suppose he could also fill in at dummy half as well as third half or whatever the hell that bench role is.

Papali'i is changing positions
Jackson has had one good score and one mediocre score
Collins had two TAs
Sitili has scored in every game so far
None of these players should change too much in price so it might be better to have another look and grab Alvaro or Keaon and get rid of bigger problems

Why is no one talking about Frizell. In both rounds he hit 50 just with base stats & scored high 60's in both rounds without a try. He will go boom when he does.
