    My plan for Tohu is based around there being very few guns that play round 17. Will look to trade round 13 players to get him in the team. Would reconsider if he drops in price, but is likely around the same price through the season. Don't want to be buying full priced guns, when cut priced guns like Lolo are going to come up, which you should be spending that cash on.

    Yeah, I don't want to cow down at the moment but then pay for guys that were 150K less at the start of the season, that seems counter productive and just going to cost points now without any long term gain, so I get your strategy here. Will look at round 13 when trading a gun next week.

    Yeah, just threw Haas' name out there as a POD and a gun MID, but we'll see.  But yeah, any gun would be most welcome and will be able to have my pick of the bunch.  Could wait another week on Haas if I wanted too.
    Haas is terrible. Literally 0 points scored so far this season Razz

    He'll probably end up being a POD though

    Yeah mate, while he score last night was slightly below par, looks like that role is secure with big minutes. Looked like he only came off due to a bit of a stinger late in the game and the game was over.  He looked fine in the sheds celebrating.

    I think Wayne is changing his tact and going the common route of using Murray and Arrow primarily in the middle now and playing most the game down there.  Koala and Sua solid on the edges without getting overworked so they can play big minutes.  Rotating the middle like he did last night you would think would be the plan moving forward, it worked well and Burgess, Nicholls and even Mago were more effective due to those rotations.

    Still, based on his shitty start, 37 from Koala is decent for his second starting game.

    It will be suboptimal if Bird gets suspended, given I traded Averillo to Schuster and have no ctr cover

    Sat on trades this week to see how things panned out re: all the underperforming halves. Was content to wait on Lam thinking that inevitably Keary might miss a bit of time due to his concussion history, but that doesn't work when he gets hurt himself. Managed a base of 30 through 3 games doing bugger all. Can only think of what might have been if he'd had a chance to kick more...

    Hoping for - well, more like expecting and relying on - some Milford magic (in Milf we trust) so there's one less problem to deal with next week.

    Do I keep Lam’s 30 or take a punt on Averillo or Moylan? Avo to carve up the Broncos? TIA Slug.

    With Collins dropping from 50 to 38, do you think it is reasonable to assume that when he was on 40 at half time, he was really only on 28-30? Changes my perception of whether to bring him in if fit this coming week.

    Spot on the points will come, Sua and KK were great I loved their aggressive defence last night.

    I'm considering the same trade.

    Is Turpin to Egan a good trade if it's intended to free up cash so I can trade Milford out next week to somebody better? Seems sideways potentially but Dearden on the bench is a concern.

    You will be wanting to trade Milf down to Walker next week (for likely better scoring and $200k cash)

    Yeah I am facing the same dilemma, Rabs. I figure Averillo is good for 20- so worst case you only lose 10 points if he doesn't perform. But on the odd chance he scores a try or just has a blinder in general, the upside is pretty damn tempting.
    Reckon he could go 10 under or 20 over Lam's score. I'm leaning toward putting him in just to have someone to cheer for TBH

    He lost 2 Turnovers. That is 8 points right there

    Just seems to be a really overvalued stat, perhaps more so than TBs

    A little ridiculous to be speculating this much but the likelihood of Moses being paired with Cleary has gotta be miniscule right? Surely would take Wighton or Walker over two pure 7s. Thinking Lam --> Walker and Turpinator --> Moses next week

    Yeah early thoughts for me are
    Milford -> Schuster
    Croker -> Walker

    It's going to be hard letting the Milf go after a satisfying performance tonight
