Just seems to be a really overvalued stat, perhaps more so than TBs

I agree, they should give a TO 2 points. Also they should give a minus 1 for missed conversions and penalties

    Yeah good point.

Still is Turpin to Egan a good trade anyway or a bad one? I'm leaning towards unnecessary now.

Walker will definitely score enough points to be worthwhile if he starts, but I wouldn’t be expecting a huge impact. Suspect he might be pretty heavily targeted in defense. He’s only 18 and 78kgs. NRL standard defense takes time to develop

Would expect them to partner him with Crichton to help him out.

Thanks mate and commiserations. I still think you will make the bottom of the top 8 and your boys will do you proud you still have enough talent and a great coach there to do so.

Radley will make a big difference once he gets a couple of games under his belt.

So will having Verrills back he will make a difference.

That would definitely make sense. Roosters are too smart to leave him too exposed. But I’d guess part of the reason Lam and even Hutchinson/Keighran were ahead is just defense/experience. But now he’s probably going to get thrust into it earlier than planned in less than ideal circumstances, it’s going to be exciting to see

wolfking wrote:Not the greatest start for me this week.  306/7.  Lam to Scooter was a good trade but Tino to Alvaro not looking great.  Koala would have looked much better without the errors and cracked 40 but I'm pretty happy with his role and looks secure with big minutes.  Hopefully he keeps building and maybe can be a serviceable 17th or 18th man.  A 37 just looks so shit compared to a 40.

Even though score seems below par, have to continue with my plan and be happy with 327K sitting in the bank.  If the Donkeys shit themselves, I can look at Milf to Walker and then maybe Turpin to Haas with change left over so I have the money there to make significant upgrades, so have to stick with the plan.
Alvaro will be ok mate I’m not concerned I brought him in too.

Souths have a better run coming the next few weeks so Koala could score a try I reckon.

You’ll be right mate I’m only 7/387 C I had to play L. Croker in the halves as well but I’m happy with his 29 tbh.

78kg is such a scary weight. Imagine NAS, Taumalolo, Fifita, Haas running at the poor fella. Fucks sake.

I am fully expecting Manu and Walker in the halves. Manu has the skills.

One of the few places I got kicked out of. Went there on student night, was getting jugs of tequila sunrises and was drinking them out of the jug instead of using a glass. The bouncer made mates with me, I thought he was showing me around the place and he walked me outside and was like "bro you can't drink straight from the jug, time to head home hey?" and I was so confused that I'd been kicked out, thought I'd made a friend.

I wouldn't expect Walker to be a guaranteed starter next week. Big ask for a teenager to suddenly steer the ship from the first day of his NRL career. He might be eased in off the bench.

Hutchison is unremarkable but can do a job of filling in until the likes of Lam and Keighran come back.

Im going to wait a week on him to see what his missed tackles are like. HE wont shoot up massively his first week and i can make a judgement

I brought him and Merrin in this week. Not too worried however it was the first week both 2rf played 80 and that could be a worry moving forward
