I guess being in the middle does give you more chance of getting a TO

As an owner been very impressed with Fui 1-on-1 tackling so far

    Some great tackles last week

Also on tackling guys that are much bigger than you...1 thing that a lot of big guys have in common is that due to their body size the weight puts pressure on their knees...the knees are their weak spot. You don't have to even smash them all you have to do is go in for a legs tackle & roll back with their momentum. They will then fall down on their front & all that weight will hit the ground & if the knees hit the ground they will hurt themselves.

With Bird out next week (and Roberts my other centre), is trading Avo to Niu tempting fate? Just feel like Niu is going to be a better long term backup...

Just on SST, he only got 80 minutes because of Collins’ HIA. Feel like he was headed for the same shift as last week. He was definitely struggling/limping at the end - not clear whether it was from playing longer minutes or cramp, or something more serious.

I'm keen to trade Averillo to Momirovski in round 4. Sam Walker named to start will be the enabler as I would sell Lam.

Did Turpin>Schuster yesterday, very happy with that start.

Milford>Jackson is on the cards today. Did many people end up bringing Jackson in? I think 55+ and potential underpriced keeper is better than 50/50 chance.

I'll now have used all 3 trades moving on from Broncos players, definitely a lesson for next year. Niu and Riki hopefully can hang around for a while though.

I'm considering this trade. If Turpin isn't playing 80 or doing any kicking I want to sell. He kicked for 150m first game and 0 last game

The doubt I have with Egan is that he seems easily injured, gets hia's pretty easily.

Can’t see anything wrong with Arrow staying down. it wasn’t like he was faking the actual contact or milking to get a penalty that wasn’t justified. The fact that he didn’t suffer any real damage from the punch, shouldn’t detract from the punishment. i hate the way that the same contact gets judged differently depending on the injury suffered as a result. if they want to stamp out particular conduct, it needs to be punished irrespective of outcome.

Meanwhile, in other ‘news’ no charges for JWH.

Plus technique is way more important than mass. Jarome Hughes demonstrated that on Thursday night. Made some quality tackles on Kikau, Leniu etc, despite giving away 15-20kg to them.

One name comes to mind, Chris Sandow

Edit , I ment to quote the previous comment about Heart not technique haha, Sandow was a shoulder charge specialist.

He did play a longer stint straight than R2 though

Played 53 mins R2 and then 62 mins before quick sub yesterday

If SOS shits the bed then I'll be having massive non owner Schuster regret. Big game coming up that'll determin if I'm a happy or angry drunk today 😁

Anyone watching the Mounties Canberra game, did I just hear the commentary team talk about how Ricky Stuart was going to use Tom Starling today??

I would have thought that the following game with Captain Averillo would be your big game for the week Wink
