They brought it on themselves.  Never tempt the fantasy gods by bagging out a half time score.  I think Welshy even said it at the time.

Welshy knows what's up. Yeah, I wasn't too worried but did have a moment where I thought he might have a 50 point game. Would never post and write him off at half time though lol.

As soon as Staines moved to fb they had a play down the right with him out the back and looked very good

Ah okay. You know, I wasn't watching that closely I didn't even realise they did switch lol. Makes sense then.

I have a feeling Cleary is also the kind of bloke to keep Burton in the run on side just so Bulldogs can't try and take him. Him playing so well helps that.

If I was a Panthers fan I'd rather have Matt Burton in the centres than Momirovski, kid is more talented and a better player plain and simple really.

Part of the reason I kept Tino was if I sold him I would have to start Alvaro or Utoi in the 13 & I didn't want to do that.

I didn't start with Lodge but started with Lenui so i've got no shame in going Lenui to Lodge if Lodge goes alright.

The Manly right side defence was also shocking, so it was always made sense for Penrith to keep going down that side.

I would play Walker over Milford as I can't see Milford doing much against the Storm & Walker is the shiny new toy that I want to play with.

Yep this is how I feel. If they’re going to make up their own scores why bother

Well the way I see it (as a non-owner) it was my mistake not bringing him in nto start with. We all knew he was capable of these scores, but I personally banked on Fogarty +330k being able to outscore Cleary with Angus as my captain. That obviously hasn't happened and I'm quite frustrated about it, but thems the breaks.

Just gotta figure out a way to outscore teams with him across the park, or bite the bullet and get him in asap.

An average of 40 from him gets him where price wise?
Maybe around the 500k mark? Just hoping I get my 150k from him?

This discussion about scorers favouring certain players has been going on for years & from memory I think it was disproved but when Cleary gets updated by 16 points it's like it must be true. The answer of course is to identify these types of players with perceived favouritism & jump on them but that's easier said than done.

Crazy to think that Momo is the 3rd best CTR of Critter, Burts and him. At least 5 teams would consider Momo their best CTR outright if he was with them

If he keeps getting 40s he will peak at about 520k in round 9

Lovely and anything else on top of that is a bonus.
Bit of a knee jerk trade for Welch 10 minutes before kickoff so hoping it works out longterm

Oh for sure he was always capable of these scores by himself he doesn’t need extra help though.
I’m frustrated too i should have started him that’s what it is. I’m not going to tear my team apart to get him before origin. I’m hoping the scorers get sick of stroking their new toy and themselves and move on to someone else

Fifita and Cleary are the obvious ones. Hope another cheap one falls under their spell that I can jump on
