Sadly I think I this happens to Clearly, he will still be on more than this. Nice thought though

Personally I think SCrichton will keep the fullback position till Edwards come back unless they are behind and need to try something differently during a game. It was Scricton 1st game in that position and he will only improve.
Yes when Edwards comes back and since they have discovered Burton's usefulness in the run-on squad Momo could be one to make way.

Is anyone not buying Walker this week?

I'm getting some serious fomo but I'm trying to resist making any trades.

So the last few years I’ve stuck to the “never trade keepers” thing and I’ve always finished in the top 5k roughly so I decided in the early rounds to just fix up my mistakes or do what ever I need to fix up my team. I traded out a keeper Cook to Cleary and I think it’ll make my team that 30 points better (with captaincy) so after tonight I’m happy with my decision - what I’m saying is everyone be brave!! Don’t trade keepers to keepers every week but maybe 1-2 times if it will benefit your team. If I didn’t get Cleary I wouldn’t have gotten him again

Me, hes cheap enough to wait a week. Even with a 50 point game he only goes up about 30 odd K

That's my thinking at this stage. I'm holding Avo this week for the trade but I'm debating whether or not to jump a week early?

Walking talking about Schuster gaining cash

Cleary could score 9x 40s in a row and still would be above 600k

A few in the autofill leagues managed to trade Cleary in this week. Well done to them!

The answer of course is to identify these types of players with perceived favouritism & jump on them but that's easier said than done.

I am not sure if this is what you are thinking about with "disproving" but back when Nrlstats first lost the contract to provide stats and were taken over by Champion, I worked out scores for players using both sets of stats and those that scored better under the new scoriers had no correlation with those that everyone thought were the scorers favourites.

I'm sure that you'd find the same thing here. If you calculated everyone's scores using FoxSports stats and compared it to the STATS data, that you would not be able to predict which players get better scores under which system. (and most people's predictions would be limited to high scoring fantasy players they don't own anyway)

Haha, I actually kinda believe the conspiracy theory (which is out of character for me), but I learnt my lesson last year not getting Cleary. If there's any truth the the theory that he's favoured by scorers, then I gotta have him.

This for me too. And whilst I have some duds (Liddle, Croker, Milford etc) with the exception of Tino they still have a low-ish break even so can afford to have a look this week.

Edit: until I’ve had a few beers later and make some last minute trades like last week.

Should find out next week then when they are down 16-0 at half time.

I don’t want to give bad advice but Can you wait a week? If Walker scores 10 are you going to want him in? Or if he scores 50 at least then you know he’s capable of big scores

I think Cleary uses opportunities like that to muck around with a few things, rotations that he normally wouldn’t make etc. May went to hooker, capewell gets a big spell on the bench, Staines gets time at fb, still don’t even know what the capewell role is just quietly

Which two out of Croker, Liddle, Walker, Utoikamanu and Alvaro should I start?

Shot bro good move. Cook hasn't been producing consistent gun scores although he blitzed it in round 2. I read this article on one of the sc forums that said with Latrell in the team the ball is spread wide more often resulting in lower scores from Cook & when Latrell isn't in the team Cook's scores go up because they attack more through the middle. Although fantasy & sc are much different the theory is still the same.
