    Re: the wisdom that "you can't have every cash cow".

    Every year there are one or two that if you don't get, you are pretty much stuffed [eg Grant, Bateman, DCE going back a bit].

    Is Walker going to be one of these?

    [I'm fortunate that all my 14-21 are making cash.  Contemplating Leniu to Walker].

    David Fifita..

    TU) Legit low 70s average player still slightly undervalued?

    Or

    TD) Regression likely and would be buying close to peak now?

    I think it’s TU but would appreciate a sense check

    I need some actually MID players. Currently have Watson, Tino, and Lodge. So I need to work on it, I also have no EDG depth either. Ideally I like the cut price value of Papli'i but Crichton/Harris both have DPP so are more flexible longterm.

    Ah Mau could be an option but isn't that out and out keeper.

    At the moment my trade outs are looking to be Liddle (Yes he can earn some cash but I would rather get another solid MID in the team.) and Hoy who needs to go out. With my $373k cash in hand I have 1.23m to spend if I trade out those guys.

    No other real trade outs other than potentially Isaako but he is still making money and should be a swap for Trbojevic or upgraded to Trbojevic.

    Hoy -> SoS
    Liddle -> Crichton/Harris/Papali'i

    Is my most likely move.

    I'm looking at Walker + a mid in - and for now I have Harris in front (I have Angus though).  Papali'i benefited from starting the last 2 weeks, so still a bit of doubt there for me once Matterson returns.

    I'd say the extra value in iPap is worth the lack of DPP flexibility personally.

    I have Fog to sell, and while I do have Schuster and Walker as halves, it seems like it'd be a good idea to replace him with a half.

    Moses plays the first bye which is nice.

    Achievable break-even, so unlikely to drop too much more. So, you'd be getting a keeper, and you get his points from this week. So not a bad shout.

    Yeah seems good. Any ideas for a cheapie to get in for Hoy? I can afford up to 404k but I don't see many options worth getting on, so considering Suaalii as a looper.

    Either, both duds. Gosi would be fine. If Fifita or Riki a late out, you can swap uto and angus (this week at least) I've traded both.

    Good point - was trying to figure out the Niu/Peach/Angus swap mechanism and didn't even think about Uto.

    Gosi it is.

    Anyone NOT making Cleary captain this week? Not sure how he did v the Green Machine last year, but I have a hunch that Fifita is the way to go this week(plus I’ll be at that game cuz Newcastle is in town). Against a weakened Knights side, I can see my Titans being a bit more expansive and hopefully some huge non base stats for Fifita. Really need Fogarty to be good to go to drive the team around the park, as well. Gotta take a risk sometimes.

    Edit: suppose I should check the weather report for Saturday?

    I'm surprised this is 8-0 to people thinking he will average 70s. Career average of 58 as a starting second rower and we have seen plenty of times before where he has gone on a run like this. End of 2019 he scored 72, 100, 90 and 65 in 4 of the last 5 weeks. But still only managed to average 57 as a starter. If you don't have him now (I don't) I'd absolutely be looking elsewhere

    Moses should be on the Eels list, he won't play Origin unless Cleary goes down. Also, Haas probably will play Origin unless Freddy makes some big changes to the squad

    It’s not how many you own it’s who you own

    Getting the guns that can stay in your team and get a bye round score is the important part

    Anyone know about Wright on the Cowboys? Expected to keep his job on the edge? Looks like he had a busy game, might be a handy pick-up if he stays out there for 80

    10-0 is pretty decisive re: Fifita, thanks everyone. I think I'll be swinging in Fifita this week if I can make it work. After that aim would be looking at bottomed out R13 players I think*

    He had great tackling stats last year too for an edge, when starting. Problem was limited starts and quesitonable job security. Not sure that's changed. I think he's an excellent pickup in draft formats, especially where you have a decent squad size. But not sure about fantasy.

    I missed your post. I almost PMed you directly on this - because I think we're playing the same wrong guns to start, but be patient game. But you have way more discipline. I may take your 1 TD vote over the now 11 TU tbh
