Interesting that a 2pt field goal scores the same in fantasy as a 1pt field goal.

Fuck that is asking for trouble.

My guess: main reason would be developers laziness

Leniu and Riki out next week. Atleast it’s straight forward

Didn't watch Souths last week, but I think Host is usually on the side that will be coming at Nofo-Roberts-Ofa. That's the side where Souths attack 75% of the time anyway, so there will be fantasy points

Calling it straightforward with 7 games to go may be tempting fate just a little bit

Was thinking the same last night, this will change for next season I’d say. Just too late for this year now

Yes, agree. That said, it does appear as though the stats providers are either now different, or they are collecting multiple stats on essentially the same measure.
The try is obviously a F-up, but the other stats are consistently different, which to be fair was one of the points MF was making and seemed to get a bit shot down on.

Thanks - was planning on playing him, but will be doing so with more confidence if the above is the case !

I guess Milf and Riki become Cleary next week. Seems pretty futile and just going through the motions now, but beats licking the underside of my scrotum for the next 15 weeks, I guess.

I bought that up last night myself but it was a busy thread.
Honestly I'd say there is a good argument for it. The Broncos played very well against the Panthers. Croft flourished as the dominant half and it looks like he'll get those massive kick metres as a base.
There is the risk Milford comes back that's for sure but that is the type of performance that should see him stay in reserve grade for the time being.

With his massive BE from bench appearances will he even make much cash before R13

You’d think with that base and scoring around 55-60 he starts making cash from next week.
Too risky for me though.

If Croft is playing 80mins every week he'd be a great pick up. But if you'd seriously take that chance after this week and knowing Kevin Walters is their coach for the rest of the year, you are far more testicularly blessed than I.

SuperCoach reflect the changes in their scoring. No reason failhub couldn’t

Re: NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 35 - Cheers, Slug
I wonder if this season will at least lead them to changing points for KM. I get that fantasy isn't and will never be an accurate way of assessing players IRL performance, but I'm not sure any format of weighing up the halves should place so much weighting on the distance they kick. We might as well rename it kickers/punters.
Points for 1 on 1 tackles, less points for KM a must IMO. "Nice to have" would be distinguishing between the various severities of "missing a tackle", which is pretty tricky so maybe just distinguishing the difference between missing a tackle that leads to a LB/LBA/T/TA vs one that doesn't.
Edit: Just before people assume this is another Cleary whinge its not (he benefits from the KM sure, but he'd score well anyway), its when I look at things like Milford (and potentially Croft if last night continues) averaging pretty much the same as Wighton, Luai and Williams .

Just plugged 60 average on MTB's site (which is probably ambitious) and it's around 50k over next 3 weeks, so it'd still be a while before cash starts coming in
BEs also probably a little higher in reality as well.

Oh didn't think about that.
Well he just appeals to me as a POD option who can put together some good scores at a cheap price that is also going to play R13. Not saying I'll trade him in but I do love the idea of playing mental gymnastics to justify picking a player nobody else is.

They probably decided it wasn't worth the cost for dev hours for something that wasn't expected to happen more than a couple of times in a season.
