Initial plan for the week was Niu to Turbo nice and easy.

Then the plan was next week Turpin and probably Alvaro become Verrils and probably Haas.

But I'm getting pretty keen on Tohu now with an attractive BE. So I'm thinking potentially Turpin and Alvaro for Turbo and Tohu. Leaves me 64k and Niu can just become Verrils next week.

I know Alvaro still got some cash left in him, but Tohu will rise as well.

I'm just being impatient because I want the sexy name sooner right?

Thinking of trading Egan to iPap. Means I don’t have to play alvaro or stef every week and his DPP is helpful. Also plays 13. Egan s made his cash now and does t really have much more to make. Is a 50 avg pluer

Good move or sideways and save the trade?

I like it but I also don't rate Egan in the slightest.

And it makes sense because for the same price as another popular pick (say Lam) you're getting a 60 average. That's 25-30pts per week, 1 saved trade, and ~225k cash gen so far for one correct decision on what was, in theory, a 50/50 call.

    Capital T please mate, seriously....

Good move in theory. You're right that egan has almost peaked and won't play 13 so you're probably getting rid of him at some stage before then anyway.

On the other hand - trading out a green dot averaging 50+ is a luxury trade, is there no one else you'd trade out to get Ipap in?

I always forget that other people don't have feijoas.

I don't even like them, aside from something like a feijoa cake, but they're just so normal here that you assume it's like that everywhere.

It's not at all uncommon here to have people bring bags and bags of the fucking things into offices because they're so plentiful

Thanks for the message. I have Turpin who will be going back to haas soon and SOS who I think still makes some money.

Only player I really want out is the Jet but the rest hve money to make or are keepers. I’d like to think id keep ipap.

    My team:
    Jbray,
    Angus;Watson;Ipap
    Dfifi,schuu,
    Cleary;Munster
    Bird,Jet
    Laurie;Hampton;RTS

    TURP,Simpkin,Moses,papy
    Uto,alvaro,sos,swalker.

Papy will loop this week for one of the first 3 NPRS

I’m cooked 10k spare and backline of:

    Momo Jet
    Teddy Pap Laurie

    Niu, Simo.

I may need to trade Pap out to Douiehi to get some leverage as I’m in a really tough spot!

Thoughts on a Pap to Douiehi trade? Then maybe Niu to Hampton and pray for the best that he keeps his current  role....

    Would leave me with:

    Hampton Jet
    Teddy Douiehi Laurie

    Momo Simo

Sheesssshhhh whatever I do it doesn’t look good I think I’m cooked! Don’t think I  wanna sell Momo.

Then again if I go ahead with this plan I could go Leniu to Peachey next week and Simo to Verrills.....

Just not sure if I’m on the right track........

I am really losing patience on Simonsson though!

He is out 2 weeks though maybe more.... when he comes back may be no good again and need a couple of weeks out.

I need to try something to gain ranks.

Pap cant keep his scoring up he’s a WFB his price will drop at some point.

I’m so short on options without doing this.

I don’t wanna flick Turpin yet as he’s likely to still get 80mins I’ve heard.

Storm said he'll be 2 weeks max

Had a high floor last year + GK, so probably is WFB with highest floor in the game

I think Niu to Hampton and sell Momo, if you're selling to another R13 CTR you get an extra 3 games, and with Edwards back and Naden suspension ended, Burton performing, he's unlikely to lose spot but not one of those who just slots straight back in no worries

He still banged out 53 in 65 minutes the game he got injured.

I don't think his scoring isn't that unsustainable. Sure the 124 is an abberation, but otherwise it's not like his scores are coming from any freak occurrences. He runs fantastic lines over and over and over again all night. And as long as he continues to do that, and continues to be sniffing around the ruck constantly, he's going to continue to make the breaks and score the tries he does. If anything Grant being back is going to create even more. To stop Pap, teams will need to stop the Melbourne pack from offloading and shut Grant down and that just isn't happening.

Every game Pap could have easily scored even more than he did if just one or two more of those lines he ran ended up with the ball in his hands.

need a 2nd opinion here lads

I'm mainly playing H2H this year so not too fussed about origin or byes and to a lesser extent overall rank (still stings when it goes down but). I've got 628k bank to go Smith > Cleary this week, selling Smith a week or two before he peaks and getting Cleary at overs or alternatively I can hold fire this week and over the next couple of weeks trade in guys like Tohu, Haas for Smith and Turpin to shore up my pretty weak MID which is where I'm bleeding a few points (Leniu has made my 17 in 4 rounds this year)

the thing is my next 3 H2H weeks are vs Cleary owners but the rest of my team is stronger so I reckon I can grab 2 or 3 wins there no stress and get Cleary in the back half (ideally anyway if the bastard could stop knocking out 90s)

team tracker is linked if needed xx

If I do this I have 558k for a centre! Just short of Peachey ffs!I’ll have to get looking maybe Bird or Farnworth off top of my head.

Would mean I run out with:

    Jet (gulp) Bird/Farnworth
    Teddy Hampton Laurie

    Not the best!

Oof bit unlucky just short of Peachey. Bird still a cracking alternative

Edit: Couldn't you got Turbo + Hampton though??

On track to be in league 11 next year which is a huge jump from League 8. I couldn't get any better at this even if I tried.

      Current date/time is Fri Nov 15, 2024 8:05 pm
