Good point mate. All in all these past two years of fantasy have been a drag. The inability to deal with injuries and drops properly is what does it because you feel like you're falling way behind without doing anything "wrong" in a judgement sense. Are other Fantasy sports this marred by random shit like injuries and droppages?

What options do they have to replace him?
BJ broke his thumb, Talau on report and possibly suspended, Kepaoa out long term.

Thinking of just getting rapana, has job security and dpp, even if he has some tough games ahead.

I got good players from big clubs instead.

Papenhuyzen, Latrell, Matterson, Bird, Momirovski, Taukeiaho, Collins, Lam, Friend, Tupounuia, Hodgson, Klokstaad. they'll all be sweet right?
I mean some of them probably don't have fantasy value, but there are plenty of solid first graders who are missing games.
I didn't even include Matterson because of injury history. Or Tohu/Taumalolo because although they play for poor clubs they'd never be dropped for form
Not sure if you count Titans as good or shit but Tino out as well.

Even Cleary and Crichton missed a week, but at least people could handle that.

Picking guys like Townsend, Tex Hoy who had known limited lifespans was a risk, and if you picked more than one of them then in that respect you were asking for trouble, but plenty if "safe" fantasy picks going down, on top of the guys getting dropped/injured from the shit clubs like Milf, Liddle, Niu, DWalker, SOS, Gosiewski, Davey, AFB, CSironen, CHT, Jackson, Hetherington. Plus Averillo who missed a week that many people eneeded a CTR for, and Host who is a shit player for a good club.

There’s options in ressies that have been knocking the door down for weeks

I think we got a glimpse of how fantasy would play out this year when we came back from covid last year & there were a lot of injuries, hia's & concussions putting players out. Last year you only survived if you had a 21 man healthy roster & the same applies this year.

It's just so hard though. Yesterday I thought I was doing well with 20 fit players + Pappy. Nek minnut SOS is out and Teddy injured, and I was one of the lucky ones!

Definitely aiming to have a much more balanced squad for the the run home this year rather than top 17 heavy.

Agreed Mulvy. At this stage we are all going to run out of trades really early. Balance going into R17 might be the decider.
