Have to plan this week assuming Teddy is out irrespective of him being named on Tuesday.

Reimis was going to get promoted into my starting side for Roberts but now I have to keep him as a cover for Teddy.

My pledge of never wasting a trade on centre is going to be tested this week.

Does Pappy definitely play origin? I mean he didn't last year right?

I was going to trade Teddy over origin anyway but Pappy could be another two weeks. Could sell him at a 200k profit instead of Teddy and just hold Teddy for the year rather than selling for a loss. Would look pretty silly though if Pappy plays rd 13....

It's just so hard though. Yesterday I thought I was doing well with 20 fit players + Pappy. Nek minnut SOS is out and Teddy injured, and I was one of the lucky ones!

Definitely aiming to have a much more balanced squad for the the run home this year rather than top 17 heavy.

This is why I brought May in, my foresight is 2nd to none.

I love cover and generally can get through injury/suspension/getting dropped without having to panic trade......but I usually don't go heavy on excess backline coverage so having to burn trades for multiple weeks in a row on players you don't really want grinds the gears a bit.

Can someone else pick my backline trades for me next week? This week it read; Peachy 66, everyone else together 50 (but managed to scrape to 936)

On the plus side I held Kolo & Sitili and had Croker & Walker in emergency (need the TPP WFB to come through for those two....its after round 7 isn't it Laughing )

Agreed Mulvy. At this stage we are all going to run out of trades really early. Balance going into R17 might be the decider.

I'm building my rd13 squad and I'll have 15 players after trades this week. I should be able to go tradeless for a while, but if the rounds are going to be anything like this week that's going to be tough.

Yeah it sucks with the backs alright. I thought Pappy, Teddy, Turbo, Laurie was pretty solid, some were avoiding Turbo because they thought that was a bit of overkill. Now I either need a fifth WFB or I need to sell one of them, for a one or two week injury for fucksake.

Part of me thinks fixing other problems in my team and running one short will net me just as many points as trading in another spud for WFB and saves a trade.

It's hard to say as who knows what's going through space cadet Freddy's head.

Personally I can only see Papenhuyzen as the 14 coming off the bench with licence to roam similar to how he was previously used at the Storm.

He's in better form than Teddy but there's no real reason to drop Teddy as he has proven just like Cook that he always delivers in Origin even if they come into it in so so club form.

He wouldn't be an effective centre or winger, in terms of utility value someone like Gutherson genuinely offers more positional cover. I think Paps is just unlucky to miss out, incumbency is a bitch sometimes.

The last time Tedesco got knocked out by Sivo he didn't play the next game so I think he'll be rested round 8.

Moses has lost a point in the last 3 hours.

I'm very confident I have the worst score in the FOG this week, and maybe the worst overall from anyone in the FOG actively playing haha

I think I'll sell Teddy* - missed R8, R13, R17, probably a rest or two in there as well. I've lost a shitload on cash, but he's going to drop further, so might still pick him up for cheap on the other side?

*dependent on how many other problems I have

Yeah I agree, assuming he's back the following week though it's a one week injury. And from this point in time Pappy is quite possibly a one week injury. Don't really want to use trades on a one week injury in either case.

At the risk of being Chicken Little, this is a query I thought would be getting a lot more discussion. I brought him in 3 weeks ago, so maybe it's the cumulative weight of shit scores he's served since then, but I'm worried he's just not getting the ball he usually does without Keary in there. He played nearly half the game for his 9 this week. If he's missing next week, and then at least a couple during origin and will lose coin the next few as a best case scenario - I'm starting to question his keeper status.

Broncos statement confirming Dearden has signed with Cowboys.

Doubt we keep him for the rest of the year. RIP Hampton in a week or two i think

Going Moses over Turbo only cost me 15 points but I still dropped 1000 ranks.

Hmmm only being able to field 16 and James Roberts mere existence probably did me in. I also have Teddy and Laurie but they're so popular I doubt it made much difference.

I didn't get Hampton or Turbo last week so one of those dudes probably comes in...... and once someone gets back from injury Jimmy the Jet gets parked on the bench until the bye rounds, when he gets swapped for a mid season cow (he's being outscored by Jason Saab FFS).

If he was worth anything I would probably trade him, just so there was no possibility I would be ever be tempted to play him again. TBF to him he doesn't get enough ball to be effective, he always had the errors and dumb decisions in his portfolio but was good for a couple of tackle busting runs every game.

Back on the Milf train? Apparently he played the shed down at Souths.....Kevvie has a whole week to come up with some weird interchange system where he manages to use him mid game to fuck up any sort of flow or defensive pattern they get going.

As much as I've despised the Broncos in the past I feel pretty sorry for them this year. This mass exodus would be obliterating their motivation.

Well id be surprised if we play Dearden again but also surprised if Milford is back. I still have him so it would be nice.

He featured a fair bit in the highlights against the Cutters but they looked terrible and i doubt it means anything. He still tended to pass and then walk which to me suggests he doesnr have that hunger back yet.

Just pity anyone that traamded Latrell to Teddy this week, especially if Teddy misses a week
Ive lost 1500 ranks in 3 weeks so I’m just disappointed.
