Fairly certain that rule came into play after he played for the jr kiwis.

How many origin players do you tend to hold as opposed to trading them out and back in again?

I ain't sure, let Rudolf go but throw the money at a 30yo injury prone half-back.. and SJ goes ? Who already has enough of his own injury history. ...
If Warriors start winning games with Walsh in the team, he'll keep getting selectedMilchcow wrote:
I'm pretty tempted to grab Walsh anyway and back him to find his way into the team.
Like Schuster, and Ponga back when he made his debit, i think he'll just find a way to get selected.
Don't need him to play every week. Just this week (Assuming Teddy is out) and maybe the odd guest appearance otherwise
He's a good cash out that allows Haas, and maybe another gun in coming games.

Dunno if I'm looking at that right and while Paps is top WFB, it's a straight swap for by far the best and most consistent MID in the game.
Pappy already missed round 3 also so you know Bellamy will rest him whenever he has a small niggle. Hynes is an adequate replacement too. Plus more resting could be in place with him most likely playing Origin.

My trades are far easier as I dont have Paps, but a big thank you to some great banter today has made my trade in of Haas easier to digest over say a cheaper round 13 option or a cashie so thanks all. Smart play would be to shift Pappy, even with Turbo, Laurie and Teddy in the side, but Paps looks like he will be top averaging FB this year and I will really want him back so it would just be so hard to sell him but also makes so much sense. Although would NOT be surprised if he makes an early return.

Hey Sloth,FalconSloth wrote:My only obvious tradeouts are Turpin while I also have Egan, Utoikamanu, Roberts, Papenhuyzen and Laurie as potential trade outs and Alvaro and Croker in the coming weeks
My back three are currently Ponga, Teddy and Laurie
I could go Turpin -> Harris + 21k with one trade
My other option is to get Walsh in in case Teddy doesn't play but I could always make that decision at 6:35 when we will know that by trading one of Egan or Utoikamanu for Walsh.
My other option is to get Walsh anyway allowing me to get Haas this week instead who I feel could easily average the same as Tohu but I can't see him average much less but he is way more likely to average a lot more.
I also need to decide between Cleary/Fifita for captain but I already know whoever I don't pick will go huge.
Please reply with some advice and I will do the same if you want me to.
I could Alternatively go Turpin + Papenhuyzen -> Haas + Harris + 14k to give me a forward pack of:
Watson Crichton Haas
Fifita Harris
with Schuster, Alvaro, Utoikamanu on the bench and Fog + Cleary in the Halves
However I would just have to trade Papenhuyzen in later.
Sorry for the long rambling post but I think it is a dilemma a lot of people are having so help would be much appreciated

I love it mate. Go for it.
After hearing about Walsh with shaky JS I’m lost.
Can you help me please especially as I am not thinking clearly this week!
Do I trade Pap, hold Jet sell Turpin I’m fully lost can’t think straight!
Not sure how you want to go mate but Peachey would solve a few issues for a quick fix I reckon.Rabbits21 wrote:

He scores 30s on even numbered roundsfilthridden wrote:Warning for those trading in Peachey: he is a rollercoaster of triple-TB-sideways-crabbing-slapsies, ballhogging and dumb errors and penalties.
Not good for those with high blood pressure.
Will score 60 one week and 25 the next.

Totally agree, seems to do well in fantasy but I am not sure how he gets a first grade gig but this is a different beast.filthridden wrote:Warning for those trading in Peachey: he is a rollercoaster of triple-TB-sideways-crabbing-slapsies, ballhogging and dumb errors and penalties.
