Haha tempted to just go on holiday this weekend without trading and just playing 15. See what the world looks like when I get back

Api still to go back to 80 minute hooker, so more minutes to find for May in the middle. Can see it getting worse rather than better if anything.
Your logic is invalid, Kenny was playing 80 minutes mate already, so based on what you're saying, how can it get worse?

No sign of Hola in the Blackhawks so say he may come into the side.
Yeah saw that too. I traded him out this week probably is time. He has been getting less and less minutes the last couple of weeks.
Coach is massive on "Dunny" as well so I think him or Hola will get a late call up

Murray Taulagi? If you discount his really shit scores he has an average around 40 (that's how it works isn't it?)

So far behind again. Hopefully my answers solved by the time I reach the end! Regardless of positions, would you rather TU Gutho and Curran

Api only played 60 minutes first game back. 20 minutes less for May at hooker that he can have in the middle instead.wolfking wrote:

Dweeb alert. Nothing like a lazy lunch time to over-complicate a review of centres.
Below is an assessment of centres. I have assessed on 8 criteria:
> Expected score (20% weight)
> Value for money (10%)
> Injury risk (10%)
> Job Security (20%)
> Team quality (5%)
> Player Quality (5%)
> Plays Round 13 (15%)
> Keeper or Need to Trade later (15%).
Based on these weightings and my very very subjective weightings - the ranking of centres to buy, in order, is shown below. Conclusions include:
1: Buy Lomax when he's back.
2: Buy Peachey now if you can afford him
3: Avoid Cini & Chambers
And I already know this is nuts....

After spending a long time looking at CTRs, I’m going Averillo. Last month KMs are up, Bulldogs look a bit better, JS good, and most importantly I never owned him previously so don’t have the psychological hurdle of buying back a player I ditched.
Other trade is Gamble because he is cheap, looks playable in the short-term, and theoretically makes some money and plays R13.
Holding Fui because trading away a green dot at the moment seems mad but he’s out of my 17 and I’m prepared for him to get 17 in 80mins at CTR this weekend and lose buckets of money.
Really struggled with the 2nd trade this week - team is a mess and seriously considered players as far and wide as Walsh, Klemmer, W Graham, Curran. Will hopefully avoid that problem next week by not needing a 2nd trade and conserving it.

I know it recommends avoiding Cini, but jumping from him to Lomax in a few weeks makes so much sense to me

Obviously still somewhat subjective but really like it. Roughly aligns with what my gut says, which is nice
Peachey is the best option, but expensive
Lomax is going to be great value a couple of weeks after he returns from injury
Don’t think Crichton, Best, Olam etc. are value, but they will score well. Just hoping to pick one that scores tries soon after
Cini/Chambers are really only good as a Momo stopgap, not someone to play every week
Think maybe Avo underrated given halves role. Not playing 13 and dodgy team doesn’t help, but dodgy team matters less if you’re kicking 200m a game

You completely missed my point. I know Api played 60 minutes last week, but prior to that, Kenny was playing 80, so Api going back to 80, makes the rotations and minutes the same as when Kenny was there. You said it's going to get worse, but it would be the same as previous weeks when Kenny was there......playing 80 minutes!

I don't mind the option of Avo at the current price. it's hard to think his scoring is sustainable but he's proving everyone wrong each week.

That one actually comes from Jason Croker, who had the nickname, I assume it was given to Jarrod as a laugh since everyone assumed he was his son or something when he first started. Not sure how Jason got it though.Kane wrote:

Like the idea but few questions
Injury risk - how have you determined this. Lomax is currently injured but gets an 8. Best gets a 0. Bird gets an 8. Think if you are going to have a 1-10 scale you can't have 80% of the population scoring 10
Job security - Averillo and BJ have already been dropped this year but you have given 10. Again think too many at the higher end
Team quality - Probably needs to make use of the 1-10 scale with the worst team being a 1 and the best team being a 10. Currently the worst team is a 5.
Player quality - Seriously lacking here with way too many 10s. Cini has played 1 game and is rated the same as Lomax, Bird, Best, Manu etc. The only 2 players less than an 8 are Parker and Tualagi with a 5. Probably need to make use of the 1-10 scale to get an accurate value
