I don't mind the option of Avo at the current price.  it's hard to think his scoring is sustainable but he's proving everyone wrong each week.

He’s clearly taking more share of the kicking, so I figure he can do similar to Hampton, low 30s floor and pushing into the 40s regularly. Not as much potential for big scores as say a Best or Ramien but maybe higher floor and a bit cheaper.

Anyway feels there’s no right answer, it’s just finding one of the less wrong ones

Take out Niu, insert TPJ or Haas yes true. Feels odd to contemplate both Haas and TPJ though

Below is an assessment of centres. I have assessed on 8 criteria:
    > Expected score (20% weight)
    > Value for money (10%)
    > Injury risk (10%)
    > Job Security (20%)
    > Team quality (5%)
    > Player Quality (5%)
    > Plays Round 13 (15%)
    > Keeper or Need to Trade later (15%).

Based on these weightings and my very very subjective weightings - the ranking of centres to buy, in order, is shown below.  Conclusions include:

1: Buy Lomax when he's back.
2: Buy Peachey now if you can afford him
    3: Avoid Cini & Chambers

    Nrl Fantasy 2021 Part 45 - Back for more backs - Page 12 Centre11

And I already know this is nuts....

I love this - its awesome. As you say, subjective, but that's the nature of fantasy football.
Your weightings are time (in terms of stage of season) dependent, so I wonder if at this point, the value for money weighting should be considerably higher. I'd be very interested to see what this looks like if that was bumped to 30% for example.

Speaking of Niu... Coates now signed elsewhere. Is his spot in the 17 secure ? Kevy probably can't afford to drop him out of spite..

Yeah I thought it sounded good for Niu's prospects, but then remembered Coates plays origin and might be good or something? Dearden I can understand, but probably not Coates.

surely they can’t drop an Origin winger. Plus I feel Coates catching high balls is at least 30% of their scoring opps

BREAKING: HUGE news at Broncos... Xavier Coates has signed with the @storm  rejecting Brisbane. Coates is the biggest loss for the club so far.

Is he? Good player ovbiously, but Walsh looks a bigger long-term loss already.

I'll look stupid when he is absolutely dominating for Melbourne, but I'm not really worried about losing Coates at the moment. We didnt need to pay another winger 500k a year. I also can't be mad at the kid for taking that opportunity.

I agree, spending money on wing, centre, maybe even edge is what teams that have all the pieces in place and some salary cap left can do.

    Thoughts on Barnett?

On paper looks solid. Dual, R13. So far he's the 6th highest AVG mid (behind Haas, Crichton, Tohu, IPap and TPJ) so near enough to keeper, considering you probably want one or two of those at EDG.

Just concerned that his first two scores were boosted by goals + a try, then his only other 60+ score included a try, TA, LB, and LBA.

I think Lucy has a higher floor and a highe cieling, but then I can't afford SCrichton.

    I guess it's basically Barnett/SCrichton vs Lucy/Farnworth.

Can’t find the fantasy EPL thread, so just wanted to drop that I’m now 69th in the entire world, because I know people like that number. And also because it’s a mindblowing rank.

Hilariously despite spending at least 5 times as much time on fantasy NRL, and watching/consuming exponentially more RL content than soccer, I am ranked nowhere in this.

Meanwhile I check my FPL over a day after the round ends and it’s like “cool gained more places”

Hoping once FPL finishes all my luck transfers to FNRL

Just realised I should probably grab a DPP CTR/WFB so I’m covered next week if one of Momo/Papy don’t return to their normal roles.

That really shrinks the pool down to Crichton, Farnworth as real options
