Don't have the cash. Currently have SST. I can upgrade Rochow to Cartwright if I downgrade De Belin but not a fan of that

I think I'm the only person not completely sold on Rochow. Then again I haven't really had a good look at his stats where has played 80 mins. JDB would be good if he gets more mins, Cooper is in the same boat however a bit hard to tell whats going to happen there at this stage.

Cooper will score as expected I think but from the sounds of it, JDB is the one who should see the greater growth as a player be that because of the reduced interchanges or Merrin's absence

I'm not completely sold on Rochrow.

If Tapine does sign with Canberra and gets dropped who gets his spot.
And where would Tapine play in Canberra? He surely wouldn't be starting

Just had a look at Agnatius Paasi on the back of his big 9s tournament.

He really needs to get 70+ minutes to be worth it. Either that or improve his tackling, 48 missed tackles last year (averaging 48 minutes a game)

I'm not sure he'll start ahead of Bird, McQueen and Taia, but even if he does he'll also need to improve on his general play to be worth it. Entirely possible he'll do that, last year was his first full season in the top grade, some improvement would be expected.

I am not tempted yet, although I will keep an eye out for him in the trials.

Yeah bud saw all the spam. Funny enough was talking to the company that owns Sportal Australia at Gaming conference the other day as they're a supplier of mine! What happened there? I was telling them that they be surprised at the little community they have there and I was due to sign in for my standard Feb re-join!

As for Facebook yeah I dropped off couple years ago. I'm around Twitter or LinkedIn if needed @HeathCram

Upon joining NRL Fantasy for this year before the 9's started I Faved all the players I was interested in for my squad. Paasi was one of those. I know he has been training extremely well (cue training the house down jokes) however like you mentioned he would need to see big minutes to be a viable option. Another Titans player that I have my eye on who hasn't been mentioned much is Shillington.

Guns and Rookies again this year, Green Machine?

There seems to be quite a few mid rangers around but not sure if I can bring myself to load up on them.

Waqa Blake guys. Discuss. Looked really solid this weekend. Looks like he's lost weight and is a little more elusive, but still has that brute strength to push off of defenders. The Panthers stacked backline kind of puts me off, but I can see him getting a starting centre spot, with Hiku on the wing.

    1 Moylan
    2 DWZ
    3 Whare
    4 Blake
    5 Hiku

Thoughts? He's priced nicely and I"m not at all sold on Hurrell (I personally think Kata and Ayshford will be the centres for NZ)

Think you might have forget Josh Mansour exists. Blake does look to have put in some work over the pre-season but at this stage he'll have to rely on injuries to get back in first grade which given the Panthers injury record probably isn't too doubtful.

I thought Hiku was signed as a CTR for the Panthers? Also surely Mansour nabs a spot in their backline.

Facepalm. What's worse is I have Mansour in my fantasy squad as we speak lol! As you were guys. Back to the drawing board.

When Mansour gets injured in round 2 then Blake might be a good pickup

    No.

He is a completely average winger (in fantasy terms) that will do nothing special for you.
And even if named round 1, his job security is not great.

The best you could hope for is that he goes on a small try scoring run, gets a bit of a price rise and you can cash in at the right time.

Always Laughing with exception of back row and centers. I think the high priced mid Rangers most interesting this year!

Cartwright, Leary, Hurrell, Ferguson most notably

I really really really like the look of Solomone Kata. Obviously not as appealing as last years rookie price, but he has the potential to explode into a 350-400k gun! He looks even more damaging this season. He's like the better version of Hurrell.

Watching the Warriors over the tournament the 1 player that stood out to me was Kata. I feel he's primed & confident looking at the way he played. But at 288k he's at a very tricky price. But I do feel he's a better pick than Hurrell based on form.
Nothing has changed my mind that it's best to stay away from any Warriors picks until round 7-8.

A post on nrl supercoach addicts - insiders at the Bulldogs have said that B-Moz has re-injured his knee & is expected to be out for 6 weeks. Tyronne Phillips anybody. He goes to wing, Rona to centre, Hopoate to f/b.

Last WFB position (for team compilation #13645) doing my head in. Thought I would throw it to the consensus:

    Ferguson or Mamo?
