Welcome mate!
Can't see Farah playing 80 anymore, certainly not for the Tiger, his prblems with JT well documented and Ballin signed although currently out injured!
Cant see Granville playing 80 mins yet either
Love Cooper and will consistantly get you 50-60 points, guy is a machine. Burgess might start slow but can see him returning to his form of old after a few rounds
Any reasoning behind the Guerra and Harris inclines mate? Guerra might take on more responsibilty in an attacking sense with Cordner seemingly out for a fair few months, SST i like to benefit the most from that
Agree with the 2 halves selections, Hastings a must have be at starting half or as a ressie
I have been looking at Fergo to shore up the tough CTR spot, Hurrell, Lafai potential to return to gun stats and both have a decent starting price
love Mansour and hasn't left my team since i started making teams,a nother im backing to return to GUN status in the WFB
Thanks for the welcome mate.
Yea that's the problem with the hookers (Farah/Granville) I won't pick them if they're not getting 80. Farah I could see myself picking if he gets minutes like he did last year, but really I don't like non-80 hookers. The variance in TOG can get annoying. With Granville there is some speculation he could play 80, I've read he wants to, whether they keep Kostjaysin (spelling?lol) in the 17 with reduced interchanges is the point of articles I've read. But they won a premiership with that set up so it's very much hype at this stage. Seg is someone I am keen on value wise, he was so dominant until injured. Cam Smith/Seg would be my hookers if Farah/Granville don't look promising.
Guerra had a really good start last year from memory, he also got injured once/twice which lowered his average (I need to check nrlstats for TOG). Definitely has the game to average 50ppg and I like him as a player. For Harris it's purely dependent on him playing back row and not centre, he had a few games in centres last year that stifled his run in the back row (and average). He was a keeper when he was in the fwds. I've been looking for some of the value premiums in the 2RF, and maybe a mid-priced player who might get more minutes. I'd really need to look into these value guys with more detail before committing that amount of money.
Yea I got Hastings, he'll be in my 17 too.
Hurrell would be in my team if I was confident on his fitness and playing weight. I haven't heard anything bad so must be doing okay. Has the potential to go on huge runs of 50+.
Mansour couldn't get into a rhythm last year so I don't mind backing him in, he's fairly priced.
Looking forward to hear nines/preseason reports to get more of a feel for the players, and trying to find the guys who are getting the TOG boost.
