    Just like to quote both those posts to emphasise it.

    a) Trading someone who then gets injured isn't a bad trade. There is no need to change your strategy

    b) Keeping a player in your team if they are out for 3 months does not equate to saving a trade. You'll want to trade them out at some point so do it as soon as there is someone affordable that you want in your team. Waiting a week or 2 may make sense if you are waiting for someone else to drop in price, but holding Hampton for 10+ weeks is not going to give you a big advantage.
    There was just no one I was overly keen on this week to move Hampton too.

    Cini and Walsh have there problems
    Crichton and Nofo obviously making me look silly but possibly they could have score 30s again

    Douehi and Turbo needed a downgrade somewhere and there were no suitable targets

    How you people prioritize these players;

    Moses
    Turbo
    Matto
    Koro

    Thinking of continuing the bye strategy and skip Turbo and grab Moses. I really need to not overthink this week. That killed me last week and ended up much worse off than originally would have been if I followed through with original plans.

    You could mount an equal case for Moses, Matto, Koro imo. Turbo is probably a tier below, maybe chasing points and doesnt play rnd 13. Obviously Matto has a concussion risk, another small knock and he could miss a fair chunk of games.

    Moses probably seems the safest option. Koro isn't always needed to play 80 mins but you know he can knock out 80+ scores when at his best. Matto just needs to stay fit and he's a great pick.

    Moses averaging nearly 400kick metres a game and 4 goals. 28 point base right there.

    Thanks. Yeah, TUrbo does feel like chasing points now, but they do play your Broncos.

    I think Moses has been my target the last few weeks but something always gets in the way. I'll lock him in for either Stefan or Alvaro once lockout is lifted. Alvaro at this stage after his minutes yesterday.

    I had 120k but wasn’t enough to get the Douehi/Turbo I was really keen for.
    Will try and rectify this week somehow

    Yeah I reckon pull the trigger on Moses now Wolfy. He's been on your shortlist and bottomed out for a couple of weeks now, so if you wanna avoid overthinking it, now's the time.

    You might not win this thing, but there's always something to aim for. A PB overall rank? Top 100/1000/whatever? You're in L5 right? Even just aiming to do well enough to make L4, or even just fighting to stay in the party league. Chin up mate.

    I held Hampton because I was hoping for a better option this week. Wasn’t sold on Cini or Walsh but I nearly traded to Gamble at the last minute.

    Will see what this week throws up. My rank is 6581.

    Makes sense to me.  You've missed Turbo's big score and most of his discount.  Moses with the extra game and should go great with Brown having a rest. Unless you need a wfb

    There's two things I want to add to this;

    Don't under-estimate the size of the log-jam. 8000th this year is not like 8000th a couple of years ago.
    I was about 6000th the last two weeks - which was only 200 points outside the top 1000 - two (really) good weeks can turn that round - let alone when there's 16 weeks to go.

    Also don't under-estimate how many teams above you will really just have eyes on H2H - So far, the bye rounds have always caused more of a dramatic shift than you'd think.
    In the first bye of 2019 I held rank (just inside the top 1000) by playing 9 players - NINE!
    In the second bye of 2019 I had a "massive" 12 players and went from 1264 > 637th.

    21 players across two bye's are not that much. So if you've saved 7? and have a good bye-friendly setup - then who knows.
    I wouldn't cast any judgement on a ranking (good or bad) till we've eaten 2/3rd's of the pie - or in non-Kevvy-speak; till R18 (or R25 really)

    At last if D. Fifita gets suspended he's good for looping as the Titans play the last game of round 10.
