I dunno, I think I'd rather him take a week then risk a second week, but hopefully he gets off. Must be confident.

From what I saw he smacked the fuck out of him... plus with how the NRL is cracking down on head knocks at the moment he is pretty stupid for doing so

Just stand there and say, I’d like to point you in the direction of Exhibit A.wolfking wrote:I dunno, I think I'd rather him take a week then risk a second week, but hopefully he gets off. Must be confident.
Exhibit A: Radleys high tackle on Munster

Yep especially when they are already playing penriff this week.
I reckon they might bring up the victor radley one on Munster the other week where Munster faked it and Radley got binned. Similar instances but I think Fifi's is a bit worse than that Radley one.
Hopefully he gets off though

yea knowing the NRL it is risky but I think the precedent was set earlier when Radley got off his shot on munster which to me was much worse that fifitas slap.

Yeah, it wasn't intentional, more a reflex but if Fifita did that to me, it would be a Mortal Kombat style fatality so, dunno. But as LB says, Radley got off so you never know.

see I thought radleys was worse, it was more of a straight forearm wasn't it? fifita was a bent arm and just a hand across the face

The way I see it is him and hass will end up with a similar avg, and I had no real great plan for getting hass. so I'll happily take the swap in one trade and the little bit of cash can go to a second upgrade if he is unsuccessful, and if he is successful no issues this week can bank both trades for later.

Don't know of any nrl coaches that can celebrate a win like Scott Robertson of the Crusaders

Yeah I guess. Who knows what the judiciary will toss up anyway, just a lottery in there at times

If DiFi gets off and Walsh starts I should be able to hold trades with a 17 that I'm comfortable with.
Both big ifs.

Yeah I agree, if he's out two now that's going to be so annoying. I just assumed he'd take the 1 week. Fingers crossed though

I can't see how Fifita gets off*
Yeah it wasn't malicious, but it was also pretty clearly a high shot. Don't see how you can be handing out 2-3 weeks for every accidental crusher but say that accident is ok.
*which means he probably will get off

#BREAKING: Jury in the Jack de Belin & Callan Sinclair rape trial has been DISCHARGED after failing to reach a unanimous verdict on 5 of the charges. Both men were found not guilty of a 6th charge relating to anal sex.
@9NewsSyd
Does that mean a 3rd trial?
In which case paving the way for an NRL return is still a loooong way off.

Is he still able to train with the side like Manase is?

He definitely was, I think there was a story last year where they had a scrimmage type game and De Belin and Clune playing as halves wiped the floor with the top 13.
This season he's been training with the NSW Cup team instead.

think i saw somewhere that jackson was still a few weeks away but you would assume there will be less minutes to go around in the middle with Jackson there. not sure it would impact him greatly though

Thanks, Thompson goes ok with the minutes
