While missing Turbo is an absolute kicker I'm not sure what Des plans on doing with him over Origin. In round 14 Manly play 6pm on Friday, less than 48 hours after Origin 1. You wouldn't think he plays that one. For round 18, Manly also play Friday night 48 hours after Origin 3, again hard to see him backing up. So;
Round 10 - playing
Round 11 - playing
Round 12 - playing
Round 13 - not playing
Round 14 - unlikely (Friday game)
Round 15 - playing
Round 16 - playing
Round 17 - not playing
Round 18 - unlikely (Friday game)
Potentially only 5 out of the next 9 games. Not sure I can justify a trade in now, but again, he'll more than likely banner up tomorrow.

If they were & they had red dots, I would strongly advise against it. Plenty of time to move them on before 13 and plenty of fires to extinguish.
If you have no red dots, plenty of trades and can upgrade with bank then go for it.

Is it better to go Matto + Turbo in this week, or get Matto and wait a week for Koro?
Surely the latter right?
Alternatively, is getting JFH this week better than getting Koro next?

Depends how you look at WFB. If you can get Tommy T now and set your WFB up with having all guns then I’d get Tommy T.

Massive Tin Foil Hat time:
I was thinking about the current players who are out in the likes of Ponga, Munster, Grant, Fifita and had this thought
Ponga, Munster, Grant – All picked up 1-2 week “injuries”. Perhaps QLD have told their respective clubs to give them a couple weeks rest to freshen up (not get injured) for Origin in a few weeks time.
Fifita – 1 week for early plea, 2 weeks if he challenges it. NRL teams know damn well how hard the NRL are cracking down on head knocks lately. Paul Green asked Holbrook to let Fifita challenge it so he had a couple weeks off before Origin.
Thoughts?

I might have to if Walker is out as Schuster is currently my only half cover.

Harry Grant was too good for reserve grade for two seasons but he worked hard and honed his game and then stepped into the NRL ready to dominate. The Roosters aren't forcing Walker and Suaali into the NRL, Walker is playing due to injuries obviously. They are taking their time with Suaali. If Keary was fit then Walker is probably plying his trade in NSW Cup and getting the odd game here and there.
Walsh is 18 and is only playing his first senior football this season. I don't see why he is 'too good to not be playing' when a season at fullback for the Dolphins would do him a world of good.
One of these things is not like the other though (hint the Warriors suck)

NRL Club to QLD Coach: Go fuck yourself.
QLD Coach: But I want the players fresh.

Damn it now I’m keen on Gamble now. Pretty cheap and base seems to be okay.
If he can average 45 for the next 3 weeks that’s 150k ish

My thoughts are that the clubs who pay players' wages don't do what state coaches tell them to.
