Mmm....was set on hynes but went Walsh to leave a it more itb. Look out Wash owners every time I have done this it has backfired.

I have seen some pretty ambitious predictions on Walshe’s scoring on here...hope I’m wrong but IMO he won’t average >50

I’ve been pretty set on getting Manu in as my CTR option this week. Doesn’t play 13 but plays 17 so it evens out.

Only thing is that I now only have 3 WFB in the team (Ted Walsh Laurie). Would it be smarter to get Critta instead who has the DPP but costs an extra 45k? Plays 13 too, and extra WFB cover. Hate paying for him at his peak though.

In the short term it's okay running without cover. But you need a plan to get some in the next few weeks

hey lads, been reading the walsh chat so good to see some others late to the party are considering him.

I dont have teddy either and wondering given the dire trade situation whether its better to get

TU: Walsh at 400k possibly benched soon but plays 18 (65% ownership up top) - costs an extra trade down the line
TD: Teddy at 577k a keeper but could miss 3 of the next 7

If you think Manu is the guy back your gut. I've been running without CTR/WFB cover since Roberts was injured and it hasn't hurt me yet

I have herbie out this week and no centre cover. With 17 trades left, should I just play with 16, or trade in someone like Mbye for Simpkin as just a cover moving forward ( and also a rd13 player )

Feels so good letting the fanatics pick my trades this week, I can see why Rabbits is a serial asker. Now I can blame all you flogs instead of me if it backfires

I'm going Hynes over Walsh. 
I'll probably get Walsh and Starling after rd13 if they are still putting up good scores. I'm playing Hynes over Laurie too this round

Have to say this worked out pretty well

I realized last week that I made a mistake trading in Barnett... he was scoring well in the 2nd row, but his role at lock is bad for his fantasy scores. 
For that reason I didn't put him in my playing 17 this week, and I'm glad that I did it. I will be looking at offloading him after rd13

If Walsh does turn into the real deal and get a consistent gig, then a straight Laurie > Walsh trade in Rd14 makes sense. Providing neither of them tank nor kill it, they should be around the $500k mark.

If Walsh goes 45-50 and Laurie goes 30-35 over the next 2-3, there will be a decent gap price wise between them.
