The team actually went this weekend! Scored 1038 and rank went from 13k to 11k. Had brought in Hynes and Burton for Fuimano and Simpkins, so actually nailed my trades! Already had Walsh and Momi ended up playing which all worked really well. If every player who is available plays Round 13, I'll have 13 players. If Crichton is suspended, I'll trade him for a Round 13 gun as my only trade for the week.

Missed most of the footy this weekend due to a surprise 30th birthday night out, end of season cricket dinner on Saturday then winter cricket on Sunday. Read through the forum this morning and was shocked not to see Rabbits blowing up about the result haha (or maybe I missed it). Congrats @Randomsil! Was also surprised about how far the Cleary chat went. It's fantasy sport, we're lucky we have a great community on here and largely even if one of us is having a shit season we still hang around for the banter.

I picked up Turbo early with the original (hopeful) plan he would make $200k until origin and then sell him, looks like I'll have to keep him forever at this rate

But nah, I know you didn't mean it like that and I even hesitated to reply to you cause I didn't want to imply you were. Its just you'd taken the time to write out a longer post and I thought even that was an example of how despite writing all that I could still read into some things too much or you could simplify them or whatever.
Anyway, I don't like to bang on about shit and especially not when its serious, so to lighten it up slightly I'll leave it on some amusing (read: dumb) things I've done over the course of fantasy
- Started this year with Radley (could probably just stop there)
- Refused to trade in Gallen and AFifi in their peaks because it irked me that they're scoring wasn't reflective of their contribution to their team.
- Consistently forget to count out my remaining trades towards the back end and wind up playing some fill in in my 17 for the last 10 weeks.

With these suspensions and injuries it is appearing more and more likely Matterson probably plays origin this year.

Hmm. Would have liked to bank 2 trades, but it might just be a case of bringing 2 forward from next round & using 4 over the next 2 weeks, rather than 4 next week.
Pap, Walker, Simpkin, Roberts, Stefano, Crichton all on my shit list. See what pans out with a few of them though.
Thoughts on:
a) Pap + Walker to To'o + McCullough
b) Pap + Walker to Hynes + anyone (iPap/Hughes/McCullough probably)

Why is Angus a popular trade out option over the origin period? Has he had his minutes reduced in this time of the year historically? I can understand not wanting to sell Tedesco as he's probably worth holding at his price.

Walker to Burton may be a go. Could still get CHN though. Also thinking about cashing him out to Albert Kelly.

TPJ on the bench I reckon. Seems jurnos are hinting Burton is in the mix too.

He is suspended for 2 weeks and then misses R17. So only plays 3 of the next 6 games.

Well I have not seen the game as I only got home close to midnight last night and was feeling distraught. Definitely the Reynolds saga has taken a toll on the playing group and some players are not happy it’s affected team morale. Didn’t like Bennett’s presser don’t think he really cares. Anyway I’m too flat and tired to blow up.
Finally had my first green arrow in 7 weeks up from 4778 to 4421 so up 357 rankings. I scored 1036. Moses, S. Crichton and S. Walker were my let downs.
Not sure what I’ll do this week I’ll have to hold Angus though I think. I hope Alvaro is back in the Dragons 17. At worst I’ll make one trade this week.
I have my eye on S. Walker to Hynes and then use the money Hynes makes to get Tohu. Not sure if it’s too late on Hynes though.
I brought Walsh and S. Crichton in this week Uto and Pap out.

Missed the weekend - if someone could give me a brief on what happened with these players that would be amazing.
Walker - just a low score ala Gamble last week? - Couldn't get into the game. Made a few mistakes. Broncos all over them.
Gamble - charged, suspension likely?
Starling - low score? - Similar to Walker. Couldn't get into the game. Raiders pack were run over all night. Storm played through the edges so not many tackles in the middle either
Matterson - HIA but he came back? Didn't see but would like to know.
This is something people dont realise about the storm, they often play heavily on the Edge/CTR pairing, often playing close to the line against the HLF to force the CTR on a one on one and get their TBs on the outside shoulder of their Edge player. I am not worried about Starling based on this game.

He's already planning next year at the Broncos.
The Reynolds shit playing a part seems to be the case, I did think that too. Oh well, Souths are fucked for a good long while now.

No... no thank you, my 1w year old voice came out hard. The sad thing was we were finding stride. Would have been decent if we could have nailed out a proper time to record.

@Holzman Wait for the TLT and see if you can remove Cini & Fusi and get the cash generation going back again for upgrades later down the track.
SWalker to Hynes would be popular trade this week I assume but I'm going to hold Walker till round 17.

Cheers mate I heard about the suspension, but he's someone I saw frequently in people's trade out plans even early in the year. Twal tempting at his price but who the hell knows what his minutes will be like.

As an owner it's not his long term scoring when playing 80 I'm worried about it's the likelihood of him holding the starting spot.
