Dufty is one of those 'nearly' players. I love watching him when he's on fire .... it seems the Dragons have had enough

The magic number came out super low for the week, was like 11900 (unless my script has shat itself). I just regenerated using 12500 and it has brought them down a bit, although with all the suspensions/etc maybe it will lower the MN regularly

Wouldn’t the sin binnings increase the magic number?
Or is that offset by lower $ value players replacing all the suspensions?

Just kinda strikes him off as a money maker. Shoulda till score well if that’s what ya need but he probably caps at 700k before ya need to trade him

    He's priced around 50 now.

Bellamy has shown he is happy to give him a rest too, especially if Storm have the game in the bag. He was flying on the weekend with 62 in 60 mins then got subbed and didnt return. That will probably keep happening but risk is he is only 35 or 40 in 60 mins and doesn't see any more game time.

I don't know if mentioned but Barry Toohey seems to think Lodge will be at Newy within two weeks.

Lodge has sold his Brisbane home according to Dobbo.

Things looking good for Flegler owners

I don’t get why Newcastle need more middle forwards. Getting a bit Raiders-like up there. But I do own Flegler so happy days

Thoughts on Hynes? Could he be good 4-5 round buy? Thinking of flicking S.Walker for him.

Can only assume it is Siebold's influence and poor old O'Brien trying to add a bit of effort to his team (who really don't look to be playing with any at the moment).

Klemmer minutes look to be dropping off, can the Broncos please have him for a straight swap?

curious how Lodge went so quickly from potential captain to shipped out of the club? is it on- or off-field related?

Yeah, it's a strange move seemingly out of nowhere.

Really? I would've thought you'd have heard of him. Storm fullback whilst Paps is away? Decent game last week? A thread named after him? Quite a good looking chap too.

I think a few people are talking up the Walker-Hynes trade, but really depends on trades spent by each team. I'm tempted.

I think it might be roster management.

Lodge has player options for 2023 and 2024... this was really bad management to begin with because Lodge is.. Lodge.. he really should have been signed on a shorter deal

If we get rid of him now we will only have to pay freight on his contract for 2022. If we hold onto him then he can take up his player options for 2023/2024.

I think they just don't want a large part of the cap tied up in Lodge for the next 3 years.

If he keeps up his recent form it is a bit of a loss though. We are probably in for some more short term pain as we are pretty light on mids.

Looks like the squelch vs. cheese battle has finally been decided. The cheese by a landslide! Will still be sad seeing squelch go Sad Here's hoping he sticks to Haas like glue and offloads 10x this weekend.

He was one of their best players on the field last game. I know the Broncos need to free some cap space, but this seems a bit odd

This....not many top teams have that much cap tied up in long term deals for two props (Lodge plus Haas)
I don’t think Lodge has done anything in to get offside other than sign a long term, big money deal that restricts the club’s flexibility
