He was one of their best players on the field last game. I know the Broncos need to free some cap space, but this seems a bit odd

I agree, but has he hit form to impress a new club or is this new found form sustainable?

I had belief in Lodge to come good.. i hope he keeps it up regardless of what happens with his contract.

The magic number came out super low for the week, was like 11900 (unless my script has shat itself). I just regenerated using 12500 and it has brought them down a bit, although with all the suspensions/etc maybe it will lower the MN regularly

Last week had a normal amount of points scored, but there was about $5million less valu eof players taking the field, which is why MN was so low

Let's hope a few of my other players have a good round, surely Lucy is due for a banner

Yeah I’ve just had a look. Something seems off though

    Rd9: BE of 50 and scored 70
    Rd11: BE of 33 and scored 63

But this week his BE has increased to 41? I would have thought it would be around the 15-25 region

Also, even though a high score will lower someone's BE, it eventually has to rise as the players' price goes up, no? ie the higher price the higher the score needed to maintain it. So high scores initially lower a BE but then have to go up. For example, Nicho Hynes scored a banner and has a BE of negative 19. Cleary scored a banner and has a BE of 62.

What’s the bet Starling gets ruled out this week with Hodgson starting again.

Then next week Starling is fit but then back on the bench… be a real kick in the guts

Might have to go back to not owning any raiders. Not the year to get double shit news.

Would be a huge pain in the ass, but I guess everyone who got him (myself included) knew that risk

Hopefully he is in for those that have him but third to last game of the round is not ideal for a potential late-notice out.

One of my current trade plans is Walker to the Fog. If Starling is a late out, I can reverse and trade Starling to the Fog and hopefully Walker can score more than 6 points.

Starling would be a waste of a trade but hey it happens, sometimes you got to take your medicine and cut your losses.

Was wondering this yesterday. You reckon Fog is the best option in like the 650-750k price range? Was thinking of picking him up for Grant in my h2h team

Fog is a great pick up, will score 60+ points most weeks with Tanah Boyd as his halves partner.

17 trades left before trading this week,Walker to Hynes is locked in. Don’t need to double trade most likely but does Uto to Flegler seem worthwhile if Stefano isn’t named today? Need my cows to start making cash instead of just sitting there

Surely, being the last game before Origin, blokes like this that are already locked into the team play within themselves for fear of injury or suspension.....

I don't actually think that will happen but just trying to make you feel better.

If Lodge is going, Flegler at 402K looks really attractive.

If Starling is out for this round I think he's worth holding if you picked him up already, unless you desperate for rd13 numbers. He's on my watchlist as a rd17 option

I might get Fleg this week.

Assuming he will partner Haas in the front row this week and then partner Lodge next week. And then if Lodge is gone the following week then he will partner Haas long term.

Good insurance for us Lodge owners short term
