No I need to make it. If Alvaro goes to 18th man I’m down to only having 2 mids.

It’s gotta be Simpkin or Alvaro to TPJ which is a big upgrade.

I don’t think TPJ plays origin either I think Matto is ahead of him.

TPJ would be ahead of Matto.

Walsh, CHN stand out but will probably target them in 14?
Sam Williams an option provided his involvement increase as he gets more ingrained with the starting team. Currently priced at 33 (using MN of 12,500) and probably going to average in the mid 40s so might make 150k over a few rounds. Bit of a punt though.

But yeah I wouldn't be even considering these guys until round 14. None of them are an absolute must anytime soon, aside from maybe Walsh as if he scores another 60 this week he's putting on ~70k.

Twal a keeper and I like the trade. Hynes is gunna need to be a trade out at some point, so you may as well consider yourself down to 14 trades.

I kinda like it, but you're really flirting with running out of trades by going Hynes. I'd prefer someone like Burton who has the chance of playing for the rest of the year and can be a CTR keeper.

Need some late advice, at the moment thinking Walker -> Hynes, and then potentially Isaako -> Walsh. Could also go Crichton -> Walsh, and use the cash to upgrade Isaako/Laurie R14. Personally like the idea of just Isaako to Walsh. Potential 70 from Walsh would outscore Isaako 30 x2 this week. May not have the cash to do it post Origin depending on Isaako's score.

Alvaro probably a better scorer than Simpkin this week and next. I'm more keen to trade Alvaro for the community team just because the Simpkin trade options don't excite me much. Seems like Simpkin's only chance to score well next week is if Liddle got injured/suspended this week.
I think I’ll punt Simpkin. Concern regarding Alvaro was he was named in 16 last week and dropped to 18th man. Kerr and De Belin likely in next week!

Yeah Walsh is the one I’m keen on but not sure on. He could be a keeper or he could be a trade out at some point like Hynes. I can get him in a single trade for Simpkin or Stefano. Stefano probably has the toughest path back to first grade next week

No idea what Paulo has done to earn himself a starting spot over blokes like DSai and Yeo. If it was me I'd be playing Jurbo at prop, Yeo at 13, and TPJ on the bench over Paulo all-together.

I like bird at 14 despite owning him and counting on him as a round 13 scorer. Don't think Schuster deserves an origin birth just yet, maybe in game 2-3, but probably next year would be better.

Honestly I like it, but your trade situation might call for just making one of those trades. How many left?

Something to consider re Simpkin v Stefano:

Simpkin might come off the bench and score a 15, is this worth the cash he'll lose while doing so?

Stefano might have a tougher road back on paper, but it's more likely several forwards in that pack will find themselves suspended/injured week-to-week, than Liddle doing the same. He's not too far off getting a bench spot (which we know is all he needs to be a "decent" scorer.

Tough situation to make a call on though.

Appreciate your thoughts mate. I've got Bird, Crichton and Roberts as centres right now so not sure I want to bring in Burton, plus this origin talk, but I get the thinking behind it. I would certainly be running with very limited numbers in rd 17 as I wouldn't be able to dedicate many trades to it but I think I'm ok with that, would just try to get a few key guns

Oof, it's getting slim mate. As I've said a few times (because I've been stressing over this exact idea all day!) bringing Hynes in means trading him out. You're committing two trades by bringing him in, and with 16 before trades, might be worth letting him go through to the keeper. Similar idea with Walsh, if he ends up playing fullback all year and becomes a keeper, that's the dream, but if he doesn't he'll need to be traded out as well.

FWIW I'm taking the punt on both of them this week, but I also have 19 pre-trades so a little bit of room to work. Definitely a punt if you go on them with 16, if you do, best of luck mate!!

I like Isaako to Walsh. The Walker to Hynes trade must be ultra tempting...I wouldn't be able to resist regardless of trades remaining

Really excited for Round 12. Going to be an exciting few weeks for fantasy, hoping the approach of going hard at the byes pays off!

Our article for this week looks at how teams have performed against the top 8 this season, QLD Hooker options, a quick look at George Williams and a list of the 10 biggest pre-game lines of the last decade!
    https://sporttechdaily.com/our-insights/your-edge-teams-records-against-the-top-8-origin-selection-the-biggest-outsiders-in-nrl-history/

Try scorer and Draftstars data updated too. The highlight here is Nat Butcher at 34 fts team, 51 fts and $6 for ATS on TAB. He should slot in for Crichton.
