So given Hynes's scoring compared to his starting price. Is this a broken game that has to be changed? or am I just a salty non owner

Damien Cooked wrote:any love for Nathan Brown? not sold on it but ranked 200 and if alvaro gets less than 30 and isnt loopable im looking for a mid who should play next week sub 580k.
Dropped 200k on starting price and could play big minutes again this week. Played 60+ last week and no middles on the bench + RCG out.
RCG, Matto and Paulo could potentially be out next week too.
Oh an 0.1% owned in the top 1000
wolfking wrote:Yeah, I'm salty AF not getting Hynes but it was too difficult without trading Crichton or a double trade which wouldn't have been wise long term. 90 points is just a kick in the nuts though.
I'll keep playing but missing a move like this is probably going to cause slow rank falls from here on I feel. The points is one thing but the money missed will be crucial and owners now have a massive leg up so well done to you all. I feel like that's my season done. It feels great when shit goes your way but fuck you do feel like throwing the towel in when you miss a massive play like Hynes. Kills the hype for the game at such a crucial time.
It's stupid how things like this which mean absolutely nothing to your life can cause such turmoil lol. Sometimes I do think about quitting because a game like this which again means fuck all is not as important as your mental state sometimes haha, and times like this test that. I'm not a quitter though and plus, I have nothing better to do! But Damn I don't even want to think about fantasy anymore this weekend.
I will just hold trades and maybe use 3 next week. Still want Burton but would kill me if I trade him in and he doesn't play next week.

That's a lot of minutes to be soaked up if Haas and Lodge are both out and with Carrigan out for season. That forward pack will be a sight next week
Yeah, all about next year for them now. No idea if the Lodge thing is right now or how many weeks away though.
Damien Cooked wrote:@rectangle for sure, but at just over 500k he isnt the worst if you had to hold as an 18th 19th man.
However, hopefully he makes 100k (conservative) over the next 6 weeks and i can trade to a low hanging Haas after origin.
i mean the forum was getting moist over JDB at 600k just yesterday..

People can get stubborn about these things though. Yes a 90 is dumb luck, but I traded him in on the basis that two scores of 40 makes a 100k and anything else is a bonus. When sideways trading over origin, anyone who can give me bye round points and make 80-100k in the process is a winner in my book.

a few points now vs a trade at the back end of the season, just need to weigh that up.

Reversed my Walker + Simpkin > Lewis + TPJ trade before the game last night. I then spent 10 minutes pretty much trying to force a trade and just couldn't find anything, so I said I would just hold and re-evaluate today. Turns out it was the right choice.
LUBLY!

with the amount of red dots happening this season, end of season trades are going to be a premium. You'll climb up the ranks when everyone is out of trades come rd 18. Well this is what i am hoping.
