    What are Fog owners doing?

Still averaging 53 minus his injury game, but KMs are a long way down.

Give him one more week or cut him now?

I think it was Chewie who summed up Fogarty perfectly:
    Fogarty & T. Boyd = keep
    Fogarty & A. Taylor = sell

Yeah good question. Also if you trade Watson to someone like Taumalolo or Thompson to boost rd 17 numbers then you are also loosing some hooker coverage

He also keeps on scoring reasonably pretty good, pretty good

Edit : wrote this yesterday in response to talk of trading Watson.....

I don't know what I am going to do this week...might wait for team lists to figure that out

Targets are Tohu, Thompson, Cook, Fifita, Turbo and any one else who scores highly in NRLF and is not going to get injured, suspended or dropped.

I would keep the ctrs because who wants to trade out ctrs for round 17 you could them to fund players in other positions but then you're short on ctrs. From that list I'd sell Moses, Hynes (when he's back to the bench), Fitz, Jones & Alvaro

I like the centres, but I wouldn't make that trade until rd17. I could nearly buy another rd17 gun in another position for their price, it's a lot of cash to have stashed at 21. I've earmarked a trade to get centre cover down the track, with the plan being to wait until I actually need cover before pulling the trigger, thereby removing the risk of trading in cover only for them to be injured before I need them.

Alvaro, Jones, Fitzgibbon, Hynes are the obvious ones. Will wait as long as possible on the other decisions.

I've had a look at the top 1000 ranked teams:

They have an average of 13.3 trades left and an average salary cap (team value + bank) of $13.6mill.

The top 4 teams have between 8 and 11 trades.

One team worth keeping an eye on: Mt Wellington Mantis, they are ranked 30th have 16 trades left and the highest team value of $14,659,000.

Let me know if you have any specific queries on this dataset, happy to dive in on it.

    This is really good.

Foggy averaging 51 from 7 games alongside Ash Taylor this season. Just under 50 last season, but Foggy's high of 81 came the one game Taylor missed.

KMs have had a tendency to be up and down. I don't think he's an urgent sell because of Taylor returning, and because he's a green dot currently, but probably a good avenue to a Rd 17 gun soon.

633k is priced around his kinda expected average of 50 odd.

    I agree with this.

Just ran some numbers: when Ash/Fog play together Taylor takes away about 11% of Fogarty's kick metres which equates to about 60m per game or 3 fantasy points. So it's not massive.

Fogarty's kicking numbers have dropped off quite a bit over the last few weeks though, maybe a niggle?

Here's an ugly chart. (green = Fog, red = Ash, blue = Boyd, Total kicking metres in the label)

Some aggressive trading, I like a lot of those guys Laughing Remembering your rank, I dunno wtf I'm doing in this conversation anyway. Going hard at the next bye probably the right move.

Mahoney and Brailey the 2 I'd keep if I had a gun to my head. Moses probably 3rd.

I'd say assertive trading Very Happy.

I want to try and put myself in the mix to win something, even if it's just some KFC. I'd rather give myself a chance and hope for some luck, than play it safe and hope that others' bad luck moves me forward. HB mentioned this with regards to the guy in first. I've heard VK mention it previously too and it's how I see it too. The plan is revised weekly (hourly if I'm honest) and all going well after rd19/20 I'll be down to 3 trades, but the plan is to have a solid 21.

The risk is over-doing it, I'm in a reasonable position. Last year I squandered a good position with a couple of awful trades and don't want to repeat it. But I'm still a few hundred points away, I think I need to go reasonably hard at rd17. I could trade six of those guys save a couple of trades and have a couple less for rd17. I could make nine trades and go even harder. Hard to work out a balance. I think with some luck and a fully balanced 21, 3 trades might be enough for the run home. A lot of these decision will be made in a few weeks anyway, but it's good to have an overarching strategy.
