Yeah had to go all in with a few rounds left. Finished 16th overall and about 200 back in the end i think. Was quite a few years ago now. Had a bad year last year (I'm in L11, just shows the quality of the players on this forum!). Happy with how I'm going so far this year though, but it will be a similar strategy I think....be agressive with trades the next few weeks and have 6-8 left for the run home. And cross my fingers. Haha

Got a feeling you will be there still, come the pointy end.

Just thinking about this… not sure anyone going to get a huge points bump like Burton but there’s are a few that will have increased opportunity in R17

Manly - Foran/Cust with DCE and Turbo missing in R17

Canberra - Sutton is quite interesting, probably subgun but can score fantasy points. Could go huge with no big Papa

Souths - Cody Walker at FB maybe? Host lol

Cowboys - Hammer time at FB?

Roosters - Manu but does anyone really need another +500k CTR. Nat Butcher slotting in for Angus?

This is really useful, thanks. I’ve had my eye on Sutton for a while as a R17 sub gun who might be okay as 18-21 man. He seems to be getting 50 minutes fairly consistently but his last two scores in the high 30s aren’t great.

I will probably side trade one of my centres and Manu is in consideration but I wish he had a DPP. Other option is to cash down a little with a CTR/WFB combo for the emgs. Could look at Hammer.

Suaalii is the obvious one coming in for the Roosters.

Who fills in for Wighton at the Raiders? Whitehead to five-eighth or a debutant?

Could be whitehead, could be Schneider, could even try Hodgson at Half but I think that unlikely. I don’t think there is much cash to be made because Wighton will likely back up given his limited origin minutes.

Thoughts on Joey Lussick? Will be brought in by a lot of people this week by the looks of it, but it only looks like he’ll play 2 more games, barring Reed being out for longer than expected. Probably not worth the trade at this point of the season, right? Is sort of tempting me as a cash out option, though.

In League 6 I'm facing literally the only person that has a higher score than me. This forum does bloody well overall too!

A couple of years ago I justified to myself trading in Billy Britain. He played one game and made it very hard to keep 17 on the park each week come the back end of the season. I loophole like a mofo when presented with red dots, but I don't deliberately trade them in anymore. It's just too hard with the 21 man squad.

IF, and it's a big IF, I deliberately traded in a red dot now, they would absolutely have to play rd17 for me to even consider it.

For cash-outs I'd be aiming for R17 players or players who make the team every week that can at least get you 20 points or so instead of nothing in an emergency.

Lussick doesn't really fall into either category.

Feels weird having a game start at 4pm on a work day here in Brisbane.

Ah, the benefits of working from home.
