Looks like with 15 trades I could afford to spend a few this week. 286k in the bank, which is probably just short of Laurie to Tohu in a single trade. Might have to get rid of Watson as well...

Well that’s a bit selfish to say as I care about how others are doing as well. I am happy for those that killed it and made big ground. Good on them.

Have a look back my friend, you did say it quite a few times. Once, maybe twice is alright but it was definitely more than that.

Also people are more tolerant if you have a crack at adding some humour to a salty post occasionally

If Walsh to 5/8 and RTS fullback, Laurie to RTS seems like a no brainer.

I'll hold onto Watson. Two scores under 40 all year, hopefully he goes back to the forwards soon.

I see the likes of Thompson, AFB and Lolo mentioned as R17 options but Taupau is quietly going along well.

Hasn't scored below 46 since Round 7. Maybe not a keeper choice but could be worth considering.

I'm sure with Laurie and Watto there'll be some options that will tempt me.  Just feel they both had a bad week and I'd rather trade closer to round 17 if I can.

Laurie and Watson on my list too. Have 520k burning a hole in my pocket and will be tempted to order in more than just Tofu. Like Wolfy says though, might be wise to hold as many as possible for now. Could have another carnage round this week, followed by origin fall out. At the same time, I wanna push hard for rd17.

Will be tight, but if price rises fall my way could potentially do Laurie + Watson to SJ + Thompson.

If I can't do both then just Laurie to SJ & wait for AFB to bottom out.

13 trades left. Intending on bringing in Verrills + Tohu for Laurie and Watson. Gives me 11 left and some change. I still need to bring in Haas, D.Fifi, and hopefully Pappy. Going to be a very tight squeeze!

So after updates 738 for me rank down from 2970 to 4266.

I have 12 trades spare and 10k itb. No idea how many trades I’ll use next week but hopefully Verrills is back as I need to find some cash to do an upgrade to get Tohu. I have lost confidence in what to do but I’ll try and back myself as hard as it is.

Like someone else said a bit earlier going Haas over Tohu has hurt it has me to but oh well. Hoping Haas can have a big run home.

@Mulvy your rank is bloody outstanding i would be going all out if I was you to get as high as possible get as many round 17 good players as possible and hope there isn’t too much carnage in the run home.

Bit of chatter re Hunt earlier today, don't see his solid scoring coming back ? it was just a couple rounds ago. Has looked wobbly, but could be akin to Moses and Fog, and require riding out for the average.

The scenario at the Warriors doesn't feel so straight forward, Walsh to halves and RTS to fullback. Walsh being rested could still be a thing. Any other halves hanging around the Warriors who could slot in ?

1013 and settled at 2213 rank, huge strides. How much can beheld onto and how much more can be gained... I can't do 4 trades this week let alone 3. Would hate to tee up for the 17th with sub 9 trades and they don't play.
Anyone hear anything on Best and severity of injury ? Got him and Momo to weigh up. Not urgent with Burton and May centre coverage.

Trying to prioritise trade-outs (can't keep em all!):

    Thinking:

    Brailey - Keeper
    Crichton - Keeper
    Haas - Keeper
    iPap - Keeper
    Cleary - Keeper
    Moses - Keeper
    Fog - Keeper
    Peach - Keeper
    Bird - Keeper
    Avo - Keeper
    Trbo - Keeper
    Walsh - Keeper

    Schuster - Borderline
    Watson - Borderline
    CHN - Borderline
    Lucy - Borderline

    Laurie - Trade
    Mbye - Trade
    Hynes - Trade
    Jones - Trade
    Simonsson - Trade

If I trade all the borderlines and trade outs that don't play Rd 17 for Rd 17 players, I can field 11 at best.

Any of the Keepers I've listed worth trading out for the sake of an extra Rd 17 scorer?

Avo's 96 cost me a lot more than that.

Owners did well to hold though, so not really feeling salty.
