Rabbits, I like the Tohu and Verrils trades. I strongly recommend stopping at two trades this week. Your team looks good for now and there are a few weeks before the bye round. Work out how many bye round players you’ll have and how many you want, also work out how many guns you want to bring in post R17, then see if you have enough trades to cover.

I know you are panicked about the bet but you need to dig your way out with planning and a calm hand. Remember the other guy is burning trades, you can make ground back later.
Thanks mate for taking the time to give some thoughts I appreciate it unlike other smart arse responses I get. Tbh with you I am strongly considering bringing in DCE as well but that would require doing S. Crichton to Simo or Haumole. That would mean max trading.

I just think DCE could score another 80-85 this week against Titans and Manly have a soft draw to come.

Revealing that ur copying and pasting the same/similar across multiple places has probably not done u any favours either Rabs.

Just crack a joke, change tact... ease up. It's always PM somewhere so don't hesitate to have a whiskey on the rocks!

Tohu and Verills could wait to next week if you prefer the DCE Simo trade. In fact, DCE and Simos prices are likely to move a bit whereas I think Tohu and Verills will be stable.

Ended up reversing all my trades and have only made two so far for the week.

    Starling + Laurie > Harris + Verrills

I have 330K and 14(2) trades left.. Really feel like being a bit aggressive this week but not sure where?

I am playing Walsh and Looping Watson and Fogarty, but wouldn't mind bolstering my bench or my second rowers.

I also don't want to just do the "oh these people are heavily traded in this week, I'll trade them in as well". I kind of want a point of difference player.

    Will sit and ponder.

I am trading him to a r17 player (SJ in my case)

Penrith play on the sunday after origin 3 so I reckon Cleary and Luai back up there but even if they don’t and he plays I personally don’t see the point in holding him for those extra 20-40 points of him at half that week. Would rather take the SJ score in round 17 and also take the SJ scores from now until R18.

I know he has some more cash to eek out but he could post a 20-30 at ctr and stall the cash generation and SJ has a low BE too so that balances out for me

After saying the opposite yesterday arvo, I’ve come around 180 and trading Burton for Harris.

Just didn’t like removing any of my other R13 guns this early and otherwise would’ve needed 2-3 trades to make it work when I already have the obvious cash downs (Simo, Verrills)

I just now need Burton to score less tries.

Plan to keep one trade for R25 when Cleary is rested, so I can captain Burton for his 103pts that week Cool

Tl;dr it’s handy to debate your ideas here

    You don’t like Olok’autau?

He seems to have that right edge spot locked up.

Strong team if you can loop Watto/Fog, I don’t think you need to do more

There’s still 6 trades before R17 and some players will get injured or whatever to force some moves and make the decisions for you.

8 left you can then sideways back to some non-R17 players after and still have some spare trades.

    I’m envious

Why so much love for verrills? When he played this year his scoring was terrible and i dont see him gaining a tonne of minutes this week either

Having second thoughts about Olakau'atu this week, I think I might play safe and go SJ a week early, then pick a cheaper guy next week to fund the Hynes to Harris trade, instead of going the cheap guy now.

As he’s got safe job security and will start soon plays round 17 is good for a 30 or so when you need it.

He’s held in high regard at Easts.

I still think Schuster and Sironen are their best edges. Surely Siro returns at R16 as well? He was named a couple of weeks back before dropping out

Warm body near base price to cash out to who will sit in 17-21 for a safe 20-40 points (based on minutes)

There are very limited options in terms of cash outs this round when everyone needs one to fund upgrades elsewhere

Didn’t sound like it in the Manly injury report sounded like Curtis had a setback.

AFB could be around $550k next week to fund that trade, one to keep in mind.

I have my eye on him, but it will a tight squeeze to get him next week, going early on SJ leaves me literally $0 in the bank so I will need to raise 60-70k from selling Watson, and I'm not sure AFB will drop enough relative to Watson for that
