    Issue is NRL bubble - they won’t have enough players inside it to cover for 13 players plus pre-existing suspension and injuries.

    And the NRL can’t have a game forfeited for commercial reasons.

    Fletcher Baker now having to isolate 14 days as he happened to be shopping at a supermarket at the same time as a positive case.

    He had one job for my team as a cheap cashout a couple of weeks ago - to score 20 points in round 17.

    Oh, and Brad Abbey too cheer

    As of 2011: https://www.nrl.com/news/2011/08/31/nrl-mailbox-where-fine-money-goes/

    The NRL retains “fine money” and directs it to a range of opportunities from One Community to associated charity events, charity donations and grass roots programs that are not otherwise budgeted for.

    At least it's not an insignificant amount of money. More than NBA players get fined Laughing

    Rest your better players in the game you're likeliest to lose anyway, which in this case is probably Panthers R21.

    Jeez, the Cowboys must be paying a massive chunk of McGuire's salary. And lol the Dragons are paying overs for Norman.

    "Jack de Belin was hiding under a bed when the police entered Vaughan's home"

    Why are they releasing one liners every couple of hours when they have a full book.

    Yeah simplest approach - I would probably tank R18 vs Sea Eagles (rest Hunt and Sims too) and R21 v Panthers. Just have the minimum missing R19/20

    @9NewsSyd

    @NRLonNine

    Love to know what goes through their thick heads

    “Jack, haven’t you seen enough bad press for one year?”

    JDB: but Vaughny’s got a load of steaks already and it’s not a BYO. Has enough booze for watching 8 games let alone an origin, so can’t let him down.

    “But everyone else had to call their Origin parties off... if someone sees you they’ll call the cops... why don’t you guys just do it end of season, or tell Paul to invite Burnsy. I feel for him since he arrived.

    JDB: he’d be too busy watching late 80s grand final replays. I’ll just have a quiet one.
    Norm already said he’d sneak me out the back if anyone comes knocking.

    “Oh you’re in great hands then. Left his bloody house keys here last time he was over”

    Also love to know who would be talking to JDB. Maybe a magical pelican while the tripper is out surfing

    Absolute imbeciles

    toast wrote:Would prefer Murray/Haas over those four personally. I think I'd only go one of those four if I was confident they'd go big at least this round and then stay in touch with the average of Murray/Haas for the run home (which of course is possible). Not sure if that helps haha

    Shady2K wrote:I'm in the same boat and very heavily leaning to the Murray/Haas option. Both will be coming in for me Round 18 if named. I think both will average low 60s to end the year and the options you mentioned are capped at 50-55. Murray/Haas also more likely to go large, and generally more fun to watch too haha
    Thanks for the thoughts lads. I reckon you're probably right, and as tempting as it might be to get that extra round 17 score, I might wait a week and grab a better scorer and as Shady said, more exciting player.

    Despite it being only my second season doing fantasy you might be surprised to learn I've never owned Haas. Might be exciting to watch him as an owner for once.

    Don't count your chickens yet. Madge might organise a Tiger's barbeque party just to get his full team suspended and he can start fresh.

    Fingers crossed.

    This should be the end of Corey Norman's career. Someone with a shit load of talent and no care to apply that into being the best he could be. Too busy wanting to get on the bags and have a good time... Wait, what are my values?
