    @Mulvy

    I like those trades mate. How many left? Might still be able to get Cleary down the line via an injured gun if you have a couple of spare trades still.

    I would have two trades left at that stage mate (it was hidden in my overly long-winded post). But I would have spent all of my bank too so wouldn't be able to get Cleary back unless he dropped a tonne of cash if I end up going this way.

    Ah right. I think the plan is fine. I can't really help, same problem as everyone else in terms of few rd17 cash out options. As you say Laurie is useful as decent cover with good JS. Ideally you'd cash him out but could be worth holding in the short term until something better comes along.

    Yeah, it's simple enough and should have some cash left over. I'm thinking Laurie will come in handy the next 2 weeks. Wouldn't mind Suaali if he comes in though. If I were cashing out, would want DPP I think. Might stick with the Tolo and AFB for this week and keep the trade bank. Final team would hopefully look like;

    Brailey
    Haas Tolo IPap
    CHN Fifita
    Moses SJ
    Bird Peach
    Ted Walsh Turbo

    Crichton Fog Watson AFB

    Verrils Burton/Matto Laurie Hethro

    With 4 trades left. I'm pretty happy enough with that with some of the dud trades I've done.

    Go with it. I'm in the thinking that Clearys scores will revert back a little after coming back. I'm hoping anyway.

    Finally found it on the third read Laughing The points first approach is probably a good move with your rank and just hope for a little luck for the run home. Holding off on one or two of those trades probably means sitting on a bank for weeks waiting for Cleary to return. Could be really well positioned if going for the points by that time and if he goes down again or slows down some.. Look out Very Happy

    Yeah that's the theory. Points first and hoping for luck later is what I've been doing all year, so far the luck has held up. Cleary could make it look very stupid, but I'm hoping I would have made a bunch of points by then. Puts me in the mix hopefully especially if Cleary reinjures his shoulder or something.

    Others here have already previously explained to you that holding trades is probably the best way to beat this Jax guy (he must be a good man being a Roosters supporter) so I would back those thoughts as you have to remember there is still nine bloody long rounds to go, so don't be the Hare (or Rabbit in your case) and remember slow and steady always wins that race, right ?

    Also keep in mind that there will be all types of shenanigans in Round 25, so once again slow and steady.

    Not sure why as a mad Roosters supporter I'm giving you any type of advice, so stuff you - Go Jax  Razz
    Hey mate sorry to break it to you but Jax is also a Souths supporter and hates you guys and JWH with a passion.

    Thanks for your advice though mate I appreciate it. Would you like me to have a look at your team?

    Jax is getting Ramien this week and wants Haas and Ponga for the run home possibly Murray too so come round 19 he’s likely down to 1 trade. He’s not worried says he has triple cover in every position and won’t need trades the last 5 rounds or so.

    I might just hold this week not sure yet and do Tohu to Ipap next week and hold Brailey as you say for 17th man. Still plenty of time to do a cash out I guess so no need to panic yet. I do plan on Hynes to Ponga for round 19 so if I do that and Ipap in for Tohu I have 4 valuable trades left.

    Reason I’d sell Tohu is holding guys this year hasn’t worked for me and they seem to be out longer than what was first thought. Watch now though if I sell Tohu next week knowing my luck he will be back the week after lol!

    Anyone worried about Bird and his scores for the run home now?  Can see the Dragons absolutely capitulating.

    Simo > Drinky for me.

    Drinky has been kicking the ball way more with Dearden beside him which has improved his base. Nice reliable (JS wise) WFB could be very handy in the run home. Unlikely to be rested either.

    I like it, I was considering him too as the HLF depth could be useful for me

    Not sure it's been announced who misses which rounds. I was watching that footy show on Fox with the douchebag contingent.. Rothfield, Kent etc. and they said something about staggering the 12 suspensions across 3 rounds (4 per round) or something.
