yeah im sure, but go look at his scores in reserve grade... abysmal he doesnt even have DPP to make him enticing either
Savage is a basement price cashout that plays the bye and has some job security for a few weeks with Simo injured. A lot of people have Teddy and Trbo, so the WFB cover might be handy for Rd 18.
Everyone's raising cash for guys like Fifita, IPap and Cleary for the run home and Niu just doesn't fit the bill.

Guess it's just people looking for a cashout who might score 20 points this round. Worth waiting for hetho next week I reckon.

No-one's bringing him in to actually score points (whatever comes this round is a bonus over any other 228k red dot).

Drinky has been kicking the ball way more with Dearden beside him which has improved his base. Nice reliable (JS wise) WFB could be very handy in the run home. Unlikely to be rested either.
Interesting left-field option. Only once below 50 since R10 and only once below 40 since R7. Don't think I can afford to go there, but could be a very, very handy POD if it pays off.

Good looking team mate looks pretty stacked.wolfking wrote:Just putting my loose plan in writing to see what it looks like. This week I think I'm going;
Simo -> AFB
Harris -> Tolo
Gives me this team with 8 trades left and 442K ITB.
Brailey
IPap AFB Haas
CHN Matto
Moses SJ
Bird Peach
Ted Walsh Hynes
Tolo Crichton Fog Watson
Burton Verrills Jones Laurie
Next 4 trades would look like something like;
Jones - Hethro (or similar cashout)
Matto/Burton - Fifita
Turbo - Hynes
Someone - Cashout (to fund Hynes->Turbo)
I think I'd be pretty much set with 4 trades left for 6 rounds. Would like to squeeze possibly DCE in but probably not going to happen.
Do you trust Lolo though? His form isn’t what it has been in previous seasons. Maybe that’s not only as he’s playing a few less mins but as the game is faster maybe that’s affecting his scoring?....

I was quite interested in Drinkwater over ARey a few weeks back but went for the tried and tested routemrbrownstone wrote:

Yes I’m worried and am wondering if a Bird to Ramien trade is worth it? Only leaves around 50k to go Hynes to Ponga though and I need to do that in 1 trade.wolfking wrote:Anyone worried about Bird and his scores for the run home now? Can see the Dragons absolutely capitulating.

Glad I'm not going mad with the Drinky pickup. Hopefully I can just get a reliable 50 average for the rest of the season as WFB3.

God. Only have 6 players for the bye. Not great. Prob not gonna waste any trades. Rather just focus on upgrades for the run home.

Have 8 trades left and only trade I can see is Brailey>CTR Ramien obvious choice but really like South's next 4 so thinking Graham. Peachey Bird (Suaalii) only CTRs worrying me. Brailey>Graham leaves me 402k and 7 trades

Graham is a good alternative. Ramien doesn’t need the tries to score well thoughLoomer wrote:Have 8 trades left and only trade I can see is Brailey>CTR Ramien obvious choice but really like South's next 4 so thinking Graham. Fantasy Fantasy Transfer Window
Just another reminder for those of you who have a team in this. The window closes just before the Manly vs Canberra game tomorrow night.

Does a high scoring or low scoring round make players drop/gain more cash?

What are people doing with Schuster, for those who still have him?
Shame that he's not available for R17. Are we keeping him for the run home?

Higher scoring = lower price rises
Think of it like this - total player value stays the same each round. And if everyone scored 100+ points you can't have everyone making $50k, so price rises would be way down.

I'm keeping him and hoping he will become a nice POD. Played well and putting up decent numbers. Who knows what could happen with the turbo impact on him, could give him more of a boost.

Lolo has the pedigree and potential to go big. For the price it's a gamble I think I'm happy to take.

Planning for the run home - would you prefer Angus or Frizell?
Angus DPP, with the way Roosters are going don't think they can afford to rest him. They need a top 4 spot, though it could happen
Frizell won't get rested, and Knights draw pretty good. But no DPP
789k v 761k so not much in price difference
