"Turbo can't keep this form up", I say, as I cry into the back of the couch, after yet another banner... at the end of round 24.

I like Jackson, but not for Schuster.
Maybe for a Jones or Tohu

What? the form that's delivered 14 tries and 16 Try assists in just 9 games - seems sustainable.
I'd expect plenty of room for improvement, maybe another 15 or 16 tries and 30 TA's for the last 8 games?

The only reason I really kept schuster was for this week, now I think he’s tradeable as he may not even come back and slot into his normal role/mins etc.
I think I’d rather keep tohu over him, get what you’re saying though

Hmm...I could skip Turbo all together and get Ponga I guess. It will be one or the other for me, can't get both.
Would anyone prioritize Pong Dong over Turbo?

I'm going to get Ponga because Turbo won't help improve my rank. Probably won't work out but I think its worth a shot. Anything can happen with WFB's

Only have 8 trades left so don't want to trade both out this week, but need the cash. Trade Tohu or Cleary first?

Yeah, I need to grab 3 fullbacks.
1 Ponga
2 Tedesco
3 May go Papenhuyzen over Turbo - I'll see how he looks first

Wouldn't prioritise him over Turbo, but the 87k difference will probably make the decision for me.
If he can get past the Storm and Roosters, the rest of that draw is pretty enticing.

Having trbo might not improve your rank, but not having him my hurt it
Even if he doesn't maintain his current scoring he looks to be the highest scoring WFB for the run home.
I might be looking at Ponga to join Trbo after origin as my 3rd WFB. With Papy's status a real unknown I think he might be the best option.

That would matter to me if i was top 50 or so at the moment. I'm already making enough moves that are the same as everyone else (to my own detriment it seems.. finally caving on Walsh and Harris lol), need some point of difference along the line to try and push higher as im sitting around 2000th. Its not like Ponga is an unknown quantity/etc.
Slightly different but I will definitely get Cleary back in.

I think that whether I go Ponga or Turbo depends on whether I want to leave any cash ITB to try and get Cleary back.
I'll be running home with Walsh, Teddy, and Turbo/Ponga. Ideally both Turbo and Ponga and push Walsh back to cover, but can't see that happening unless maybe Pap drops a good chunk of cash.

This is actually a really good way of thinking and makes perfect sense. Especially where I'm ranked around 2400.

Exactly. Ponga banks almost 100K too. I'm tempted by this strategy. I may even tempt fate and get To'o back for the run home as a POD. I think he'll average close to both of them.

I did this strategy last year with Ponga as everyone had him and it backfired immensely and I could have improved ranks if I didn't go with him.

Seriously, I can see any three of Ponga, Trbo, Ted and Pap with Walsh as backup being a legitimate backline for the run home.
I have Trbo & Ted and will grab whoever looks the best option out of the other two once Hynes gets the heave ho by Pap's comeback (I suspect that it might be Ponga given the gamble betting on Pap might represent with limited trades) but it could come down to $$ available
Trades this week
SCrichton, Tohu & Jones out
AFB, Chambers & Kobe in
Thought seriously about Manu over AFB but if i'm upgrading CTR it's going to come last and AFB has been good to me in the past with a scoring run (plus it allows my two trade outs next week to drop some cash)
Trades next week will be
Kolo & Sitili out
Fifita and Ipap in
Still holding Cleary but pending news he could upgrade two more the following week

This weeks decision looks like being to trade in one of the following:
Player 1: Priced at 44. Average 50 across 2019-2020. 2021 average (excluding injuries) = 50. Job security = high. Stats say expect solid 50
Player 2: Priced at 35. In his current position averaged 43 in 2019, 48 in 2020 (excluding injuries) and 39 in 2021 (in part to averaging a sin bin each 2.3 games of footy. ) Job security = high. Suspension risk = high. Stats say expect mid to high 40's.
Player 3: Priced at 35. Debuted in 2020, averaging 43 since. When starting, has averaged 52 (7 games). When starting in his current position has averaged 58 (5 games). Job security = uncertain. Stats say expect 50's until dropped.
I've had AFB (player 1) pencilled in all week. But given they are (hopefully) my 18th man, the extra $100k saved for Victor (Player 2) or Wilton (Player 3) might make the difference between a To'o or Ponga as last WFB.
I feel like it's stupid with trades at a premium, but I'm tempted by Wilton. Anyone have any thoughts on job security? Talakai was named to start 2 weeks ago but Wilton was late switch. Plus Wade Graham?
After all that, I think I'm back at this order: AFB, Wilton, Radley.
Anyone want to contribute and turn the monologue into a discussion?
TLDR: AFB, Radley or Wilton?
