Is Ponga gonna backup this weekend though? Would want to be 100% sure before bringing him in this week.

I'd go Haas over both of those mate.
I meant I can’t get Haas in one trade but it would be a waste of a trade getting one of the other two

At this stage I think I'm going to keep him, he's got a favourable draw and will be a handy backup (letting me get rid of RTS without compromising my WFB depth). That said, if I trade him I think Schoupp is my target letting me leave the decision until Sunday so plenty of time for me to change my mind.
How about you?
Seeing Ted is out, I'll keep him and play him. Was going to trade to Schoupp but would rather play Laurie. Gut says Laurie should hang around.
Decision now is Matto to Fifita or Peach and Bird to Schoupp and Fifita.
Or hold and miss Fifita this week.

Everyone should trade out Teddy I reckon. He is overhyped and a bit of a wuss. Needs more rests then my mates bulldog

If teddy wasn’t such a bustard arse with a price that reflects this, I’d do the same. Bringing in ponga makes bring in Cleary much harder
I'm sitting with To'o on the other wing, Turbo in EMG so when Pop comes back Hynes becomes Cleary

Please don't make these decisions Robbo without first consulting with me.

Teddy out is a bit annoying, I could bring in Ponga but it would hurt my chances of bringing Cleary back in to much. I think I'll save the trade and just play Ramsay this week.
Team at full strength is:
McCullough
Haas iPap
Fifita Tohu Crichton
DCE SJ
Burton Avo
Turbo Teddy Hynes
Hunt Jackson Schuster Walsh
Fogarty Bird Verrills Ramsay
Ranked 372
6 trades left
$294k in the bank
Happy to run with Hynes as long as he is starting and will flick him to Ponga/Pappy when the time is right.
Fogarty and a cash out/downgrade will become Cleary once he is back.
That leaves me 3 trades for the run home. At least that's the plan.
Solid enough?

Owning Teddy since R1 is honestly the most disappointing thing in my fantasy season. I've made worse moves, but they were punts or poor decision-making (usually both).
It's not even about the resting after Origins, which was expected, its the rest. This was meant to be a sure thing.
I'll see if the Macho Man can put up something ok, and if not will be Brailey or Watson to Ponga*
*assumes Ponga plays

Fuck me dead Robbo just keep teddy on ice for rounds 1-25 next time, wheel him out for Origin and finals. What exactly is he resting for if he misses more games than he plays lol

Teddy out makes my decision between him and To'o easier..... though I am still a bit worried To'o will be rested....that knee looked a bit sketchy

3 biggest trade regrets of the year - selling Avo, not buying Walsh, noy buying Hynes. Current rank 1600 - reckon if I made those calls right I'd be top 500 or better.
With Teddy & Turbo out, and carrying Simo, down to one active WFB (Hoppa - don't ask!):
Hopefully, just one last kick to remind me of my trade regrets. I think this means no Fifita now.

I do not want to be bringing him in for anyone that plays before the Knights. I'm going to keep CHN instead of Watson/Brailey solely to manage the risk.

Bringing in the forgotten hero - Adam Douehi.
Will cover WFB this week and sit on my bench going forward pushing someone else to 18th man.
Down to three trades now. Gulp.

Who you play? Scritta against Warriors or Savage against Sharks?
I have the same predicament if I hold my 2nd trade. I guess Critta with the GKing right?

Not sure mate, he isn't injecting himself at the moment, I'd prefer Wilton, Uele and Hunt if ready to be used.
Was going to make a Sharks joke but felt it was still too soon....wait a minute

Those salty about Teddy resting. He missed R8 due to something, can't remember... Then R13 was a BYE/Origin, then R14 he was rested/hip pointer, R17 was Origin and now resting R18 so really he is only being rested twice??? Missed his usual Origin games and then missed R8 earlier this year.
