Will have cut to 19 before Warriors kick off but not final teams

I would avoid this. I reckon good chance Ponga gets a rest too.

With that 4.5 red dots before trades stat, I’ll be pretty cut up if I can’t at least hold rank this week. Even with captain Fifi and Fog injury

I’d be pretty confident of this.

It would give me 17 in my serious draft league in nrlceo too. So hoping it happens

Couple of years back I used to make enough betting first 4 weeks of NBA to cover my entire year of gambling on other sports. Premise was pretty simple, bet on guys you would want to own in fantasy - Increased roles, covering injury, rookies and those that have improved to cover various markets. Points, rebounds, assists or combinations of these. If you can pick early who is going to be most improved player you can make a killing. Used to take a bunch of games before bookies would be less conservative with the lines and adjust them in line with actual performance. 2015, 2016, 2017 I got on Jimmy Butler, CJ McCollum and Giannis early so made plenty of profit. At one point Giannis went over his points+rebounds+assists line 15 games in a row and 18 times out of 20 games

Sadly the models now don't rely purely on the players last season numbers so they are updated quicker but you can still make some cash early days

Yeah bro there is so much money to be made on the NBA. The player markets are really good to bet on, these playoffs I've made quite abit of money. Imagine if sportsbet implemented stat markets for the NRL eg. 40+ tackles made, 2+ line breaks and what not for individual players.

Jake Granville was a elusive FB for Wynnum before he joined the Broncos.  Not for a minute I'm suggesting he replaces Val Laughing

TAB used to offer player stats markets and one bookie offered fantasy points markets for a couple of years. 2012 Grand Final I took Cameron Smith to make more tackles than Ennis at ~$1.70. Smith was averaging about 45 tackles per game with Ennis averaging about 32 per game. Melbourne starved the Dogs of possession completing heaps of sets and Ennis came through with a season high 47 tackles, while Smith only had 36.

For poker fans making the right EV play enough times will eventually see you profit but it hurts when you get bad beats like that

They used to, not allowed to anymore.

The early days of stats markets were so fkn easy because yeah, back in those days they were slow to update to team changes/etc.

Skim read the last few pages. Roberts and SJ out? That takes me up to 4.9 mil of talent out for me

Or 4.6 of talent and James Roberts at least

Playing with 14. Fog gone for 4-8 weeks too. More prayers please. The last ones haven’t worked!

I don’t bet much these days - have a small account for 4$ Dragons tilts and the Melb Cup really - but no doubt bookies are smarter now. I made an absolute killing I think 2007 RWC betting on tier two nations against six nations and pacific teams. Romania, Georgia getting 30+ starts against Scotland and Ireland, USA and Japan getting 20+ starts against Tonga and Fiji, things like that. Would never get those kind of prices now.

So do any players who didn't travel to Qld initially now have to do quarantine if they do?

Not sure if mentioned but the 2 games Cowboys v Roosters & Raiders v Sharks have swapped around from the original draw earlier in the week.

Gonna have a hard time actually getting to QLD with hard borders and not enough players outside to charter a private plane like they have for main squads. If they do manage to get in they probably get 14 days quarantine. I'd say Roberts/Lomax/Alvaro/Chambers etc are probably done until lockdown is over
