Looks very solid mate. I also like Murray but with the way things have panned out recently my plans have been thrown out the window. SJ hopefully comes good, he's shown his capability, hopefully last week was an outlier.

This is my mob at the moment:

    Mahoney
    IPap Haas Thompson
    Fifita CHN
    SJ Moses
    Avo Manu
    Turbo Ponga Teddy

    Hunt Hynes Walsh Gamble
    Watson Brailey Bird Verrills

I only have 2 trades left. This week was Harris/Reynolds > Haas/Mahoney. One final trade will be used on Hynes > best available. Crichton or Murray at this stage, whenever Hynes gets moved from fullback. Then 1 trade to ride the gauntlet. I'm happy enough with my depth that 1 trade should be enough

Final bench spot is a toss up between Watson, Brailey and Gamble but Gamble's recent form has him there right now as a 50 scorer

I like your plan mate and great depth. Trading ARey with SJ looking a little shaky is slightly risky, but I don't mind it, he'll come good. Love your trades this week however.

"He is looking at a return in round 19 or round 20."

    In relation to Fog.

Yeah I just like SJ's ceiling more than ARey. Even in Souths big wins ARey doesn't really get the points. He's had 3 TAs all season, just acts as the link man for Walker and Latrell. My halves depth also extends to Hunt, Gamble and Avo as well if needed so should be ok there. Before last week SJ was the flavour of the month so no reason he can't return to how he was. If he does shit the bed then I can just put Hunt to HLF and move up Watson/Brailey to the bench

Yep I think I've had too much stress riding Fog. He's too volatile and Murray is more fun to watch.

Annoyingly it means Tups will stay in my side until the end, speaking of wild rides! Will be a good player to loop mind.

I was going to use two trades this week but it might just be the one now.
After making the two trades and reshuffling it leaves ARey, Brailey and Watson out of the team. Verrills aswell but yeah that’s an easy one

Well... with the Savage news do I keep him as a red dot? Not much point being a red dot as Raiders play 1 Saturday and all Thur/Fri games to finish off the year.

    Take the 26K and run?

Haha, first thing I did was look at the Draw as well and pretty much worst case scenario. 4 trades left for me and 7 Rounds to go. As long as I have 17 this week I’m holding trades.

What would you get for him though - hard to justify a trade unless you have big cash reserves.

I'm gonna keep him to loop WFB3 I think. It's probably a weaker spot in my team than #17 anyway.

If I'm going to waste a trade on a cheaper player I'd rather f-off Mbye and get a more usable backup CTR

That TPJ news is good for Hetherington (of the Broncos variety) going forward, right?

Basic plan would be Fog -> Hetherington this week then Hynes to Ponga next week. Should leave me with ~640k to swap Lucy/Watson to Cleary. 3 trades remaining after that and this team:

    Macca
    Haas iPap Lolo
    DiFi Crichton
    Cleary Moses
    Avo Burton
    Teddy Ponga Walsh

    Schuster Matterson SJ AFB

    Watson Hetherington Verrills Schoupp

18-21 is a bit weaker than I'd like, but the only way I can see around that would be getting Radley instead of Hetherington this week, then upgrading someone in the 750k range (iPap/Crichton) to Cleary. Don't really think that's worth it.

Other option is just Fog to Murray, because leaving all that cash ITB does seem a bit risky if there are further delays with Cleary. Any thoughts?

    Thoughts on Radley?

If Hynes can outscore Ponga this week by 10+, I should be able to do Harris, Hynes & Fog to Radley, Ponga and Cleary. Radley would need to be this week though before his price goes up.

The above would leave me with 4 trades (no bank to speak of) and:

    Mahoney
    iPap, Crichton, Haas
    Fifita, CHN
    Cleary, Moses
    Bird, Avo
    Trbo, Teddy, Ponga

    Lolo, Schuster, Walsh, Radley
    SJ, Brailey, Verrills, Savage

Might just being my red dot trade forward a week (Savage to red dot) + trade Hynes (Pending Pappy news) > Murray/Hunt

Then next week I will go SJ + Burton > Ponga/Pappy + Cleary

    Will leave 3 trades

Solid plan imo. Can't imagine too many teams would have better depth than choosing between Radley, SJ and Brailey for 17th man.
