I still have Starling, happy for him to sit in reserves and sometimes be in the 17 if needed.Chucky wrote:
I’ve been considering it too.
Is 2 games in a row considered a trend?
353k for someone who can get a banner is pretty good.

Can't decide who to leave in EMG out of Peachey/Burton/Manu..... Leaning Burton, but he could easily go over for a couple pies against the broncs

Thinking Peach.
I'm wondering who I play and loop out of SJ, Burton and Peach.

I'd say there's a good chance of some end-of-season test matches and even chances that the Pacific nations pull out of the world cup and join in. Renegade Pacific world cup 2021.
If Vlandys can make cash off it then good chance it happens.

WC dead and buried for 2021 IMO
If Aus/NZ aren’t going I’d be surprised if any NRL players go. Even if they wanted to, it’s not easy to get in and out of the country right now without the influence of the NRL to sort out the govt exemptions. That leaves us with a Euro nations plus Jamaica tournament.
Better to wait until 2022/23 anyway

I flirted with Gutho in over Mahoney this arvo. I think it helps my team balance but I’m not good with the variance of outside backs

England
Ireland
Scotland
France
Maybe USA and Jamaica
Can't think of any other northern hemisphere nations worth mentioning. Definitely none at all. I have all the important nations mentioned. All of them.

Moses > Murray might be my only trade this week.
Not sure about Murray but think if i want Cleary I need to stick around that price tag.

There was talk of Hughes being rested earlier in the week.
It wouldn't surprise me if he was out

Hmm yeah. You reckon they will cut him tonight from the squad if he wasn't gonna play?

No idea. Bellamy has been a pain in the ass to fantasy coaches plenty of times before.
Reckon lewis starts at 6 and papy will come on *at some point* with hynes moving to 6 when he does.
Again, just my opinion/gut feel and ill probably be wrong

iPap for me. Was prejudiced against him as a Warriors fan because he never amounted to much......well more fool me. Ended up paying gold.Milchcow wrote:
Looking back at trades this year, I think my 2 biggest mistakes were not getting CHH or Hynes
FCHN the worst because I took a punt on Starling instead, hoping Hodgson was going to get the flick mid-season as was somewhat rumoured at the time.
I would definitely have started with CHN if he'd started in round 1, so I should have jumped on when i had the chance
Hynes in when Papy was out was probably worth the gamble - he was pretty cheap and there were signs early Papy would be out for a bit. Certainly that info came out early enough to still move on Hynes
Other trades that have stuffed me have been as much bad luck as bad trades - having CTRs get injured 4 weeks in a row is just what happens in fantasy. Without hindsight can't have changed that
Also holding Tohu Harris almost paid off but instead cost heaps of money and points.
I'm holding Moses, so look for him to comeback next week for 5 points an a new injury
Same for Turbo, but different. Those hammys scared me away, but i've ended up getting him as damage control anyway.
I've owned Fatrell once. I'd rather any result than have him again tho. Cost me a H2H GF by convincing me he'd be a better scorer than an off form Nikora, then handed me an 8 or 16. Nokora got 72 i think...

If the players come from Australia - then they probably won't be going (or won;t be going at full strength)

I think you want a premium hooker over Brailey/Watson
Do you have trades cash to double trade Brailey + Tohu for both Murray + Mahoney?
6 trades left and and only 110k itb. Need two trades for Cleary.
