Is Demetriou really that well regarded? Have any other clubs ever chased him for a head coach role?

With their left side attack missing two key players and a rookie head coach, not sure Souths are going to be the dominant side they have been for several years.

Aside from Robinson winning the minor prem with the chooks, I can't remember any other rookie head coaches finishing high on the ladder. Anyone?

To be fair, seeing IPap with a 72 last night would sting if he was about to pull the trigger and it locked out.
