Mulvy wrote:Sharks star Shaun Johnson has played his last game for the club after scans revealed his torn hamstring will sideline him for the rest of the season.

Cronulla coach Josh Hannay on Friday said it was unsure whether the Kiwi veteran, who is returning to the Warriors next season, would remain with the club in their South-East Queensland bubble.

Hannay said that even if the rehab went well, Johnson would be highly unlikely to play again even if the seventh-placed Sharks make the finals.

Johnson limped off with the hamstring injury during the first half of their win over the Bulldogs last Sunday.

Fellow playmaker Matt Moylan will not return this Sunday against Manly at Redcliffe from his calf injury.

Might lock Trindall in. May even play him over Verrills.

Cause it's Peach, take the 37 I think.

If ARey and Fog play I’ll make one trade but would like to know if they will suit up first.

I would like Ponga but maybe next week I’ll grab him

Take the 37 unless there’s a late change with Peachey at lock.
Then you think about it, maybe have a shower, and still take the 37.

Off topic, but a golden hour for NZ at the Olympics. 2 golds and a silver in the rowing in the space of an hour. I enjoyed that.

Re Ponga, I’m waiting until I see a bit more intensity from him before deciding between him and Papy.
If they both keep dropping cash I may get both.

I've decided to save a trade this round and play with 16.
With my EMG Sam Walker and Verrills putting up acceptable scores last night I think I'll be ok.

I don't ever vote in them because like you said most of the answers are short term. I've also traded in Ponga

I try to vote on them, but I am on the "losing" side of it a lot.

Trading in Doueihi over Ponga seems like madness and chasing the last two weeks points.
Only reason you'd go Dodo is if you think Ponga is sure to reinjure himself or you have no halves cover.

Great effort by the rowers, took the lead early and never surrendered  it

I reckon TU/TD are still mostly guided by who scored the most points last week.

I always feel sorry for the guy losing and try to even it up

We’ve had the early lockout, quietly hoping for a complete non-Lockout on a game now. Someone tonnes up, some get to trade him in after the fact.

Agreed. I had to get Doueihi for half cover but otherwise would've absolutely gone Ponga given the choice

With those halves you have to think he takes a little more control of the ball. Maybe even does a bit of kicking.

Even though I said he fucked me the last couple of years, I am tempted to grab Ponga next week for Hynes. I guess his performance this week is what that decision will boil down to.

Reckon he scores a 20-30 today and then when everyone goes off him next week, we can pounce and he’ll average 60-70 for us

If you needed a cashout to get Cleary next week, would you do that cashout now? I guess the risk in that is Cleary might not be back next week.

But if I don't cashout now then the options might be worse next week...

Base price, Blore. If you can afford more, Trindall or Hethro. Sexton if you feel Taylor misses out when the Fog returns.
