I know we lost by 50 so it hardly matters but…
1. I really hate the interpretation where Sua is able to score his try. Anywhere else on the field held is called. In goals he’s allowed a 2nd, 3rd, 4th effort and we’re punishing the defending team for good defending. It’s up there with how every player seems to deliberately play the ball off the mark because there is never a penalty for it in the “rules I’d like to change” list.
2. seeing Sullivan get smashed in the head Teddy/Papy style and no sin bin was lol. They’re just pretending magic round didn’t happen. That 2-3 week crackdown killed Dragons season more than the BBQ at Vaughans.

At the start of the week it was between Blore, Trindall and Sexton (yeah I know).
My first thought was only one would score really well and the others would be duds. Now that Blores scored the good one I’m hesitant to bring in a dud.
Good thought process?

Thinking about Watson's minutes, I'm thinking maybe they were managed due to the 4 day turn around. So hopefully because he had a quiet game, he can rip in against the Broncos. That's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Not at all, seems to be pessimistic for no reason
Trindall should still score pretty well with dominant kicking

Happy to be onboard with this
Broncos lost Staggs and Turpin now (Paix still injured). Going to be a real ugly side on paper.

Looking at the bench, I'd be surprised if Peach sees many more minutes this week. Hard to see him scoring anywhere near 29, however, it's probably still worth the punt.

14+Laurie for me
So far so good at 670 with Fifita and Schoupp to come, but I'm going to slide hard once the Manly Sharks game kicks off

I'm just thinking maybe the game plan changed when they played a day later than scheduled. I mean, went from 80 minutes to what 45 minutes yesterday? Just seems weird. Sue is shit too, Watson infinitely better.
Ponga could have a field day will the side if bow Staggs and Turpin are out.

Agreed, that was ridiculous. I found it strange how not even the commentary team batted an eyelid either. So you can just wriggle around in goal for as long as you want until you get it down?

I'm having a shocker mate and I traded in Trindall and playing him. You've been warned.

Agree. He was held from about 10 minutes and he was still allowed to ground it. Ridiculous.

Said to a mate at the time if Su'a had done that from the 1 metre line to the in goals it's a double movement every day of the week. But some how due to being across the line it's fair game. Gives me PTSD flash backs to 2004 grand final

Sue has a completely different role than Watson. Against the bigger packs Sue goes out early to wear the bruises for first 20-25 minutes. Watson is more crafty and elusive with most of his runs using late footwork to find inside shoulders of defenders. Knight's plan against the big Raiders pack was to ram it down their throat early, which Sue suits much more than Watson

this gives me the shits and it happens all game long.
ref calls held, but attacker keeps agitating forward.. defense has two options:
1 - release immediately - attacker then steps in front of the defenders and plays the ball, way forward of the mark of held call, play continues, attacking team has advantage.. usually a dart from dummy half to create a roll on.
2 - keep holding and get pinged for six again.

Sneaky little calf injury for Hughes could be interesting
Hughes was in doubt last week with a calf injury, interesting if this is the same one
